Very pleased with his work. Love the fireplace and all the advise and time taken to explain things. Extremely greatful for all the extras him and his crew did for me. I will use him again in the future when i need a new furnace. Definitly recommend him!!!!

I found Al on Kijiji and was interested based on his low advertised prices. From the first time I contacted Al he was very professional and did not disappoint in any facet of the job. He priced the job and stuck to his estimate...no hidden costs...as well as the install date. I had researched a number of suppliers and found Al's price to be the best.

The job was done on time as promised and Al took the time to answer my questions. He worked efficiently, did a top notch installation and left things as he found them when he left.

I would not hesitate to recomment Al and will be calling him for future work.

I needed to install a Natural Gas fireplace in my living room and I am so glad I used Al’s service. I have visited a few fireplace showrooms, and many of the places are pushing me into buying from them. They also charge a lot of extras even some of the options I want are included with the purchase of the fireplace. Finally, I purchased a nice Napoleon fireplace thru Al and have Al did the installation of the fireplace. Al is professional, courteous, and did a neat work inside and outside. It was a lot of work and Al delivered it on time, on budget. He worked in the crawl space for hours without any complains, he even vacuumed the floor after the drilling and cutting! Al was careful with my furniture; he explained all about the operation of the fireplace and patiently answered all my questions. I truly love the beautiful fireplace that he installed!

I'm renovating my kitchen and needed a gas line for a new stove. Briefly considered tackling it myself but decided working with gas was too risky. A quick web search led me to Al, who advertised $99 + $6/foot (my run was 22 feet). I called, he answered, and we scheduled a visit. A couple of hours later the job was professionally done for a very reasonable price, exactly as he'd advertised. Al even helped me manhandle my ridiculously heavy Bluestar gas range in from the garage. Just an excellent guy to deal with, highly recommended.

Needed a fireplace installed in my family room and since I have used Al's services for my customers, I decided to give him a try. Thought it would only take a couple of hours, he was here taking his time. I am used to people who just come in and want to get out as quick as they can. Al took his time to explain the fittings and even after he left I decided to put a fan in the fireplace and he guided me through it on the phone! Now I have a gorgeous fireplace (WITH a fan). I have had drywallers, door guys and insulation guys just wanting to do the job and getting out, never coming back (and me not wanting them to either!) After people get the job, don't appreciate the money you're spending. I gave him a hard time too, at first, because I was expecting another rush job. And the price was unbeatable. Any lower than that and you don't want that person in your home playing with GAS!

Al installed a gas fireplace in our basement recreation room last fall. Al was professional and knowledgeable throughout the job: he helped us choose the right model, did a beautiful install job, and followed up afterwards to make sure all was working well. And best of all, he came when he said he would, completed the work on time, and charged what he estimated! He also took the time to do some extras, cleaning the glass and restocking the 'coals' for the upstairs gas fireplace. Overall, we were very happy with Al's skill and his professionalism, and we'd hire him again.

Needed an installer, contacted Al the Gas Guy and arranged 2 installations. We set up installation dates and he stuck to them like glue (even though one was very far). Customers were both happy and the price can't be beat - for a licensed pro who takes his time and does the job right.

In order to upgrade my garage into a workshop I needed a thermostatically controlled gas heater. I was looking around Kijiji and saw many heaters but didn't know the kind I should get. I also needed someone to install it as I would never do it alone. I found Al the Gas Guy and asked him if he had heaters for sale. Al said he didn't but offered to review what ever heater I found. After forwarding several Kijiji ads to him I decided on a ceiling mounted unit. We discussed the installation and Al stressed that it needed to be in code,which what I wanted anyway. We set the install date. Al came and ran the pipes and installed the heater. The heater installation was a little more work then he had anticipated so he gladly spent the extra time and didn't charge me extra.
All-in-all it was a very good experience and I would call Al the Gas Guy again.
