We hired Bio-Logic to re-design both our front and back yard. We are so pleased with the new look. Mitch was extremely creative and designed a totally unique landscape! We sit out in our backyard and just LOVE IT! The construction crew was very professional and worked very hard!

I approached Bio-Logic because I got a free landscape design offer from my email. After an initial consultation, Mitch designed the landscape to my style and budget and after several iterations, the project was a go. This was for a whole teardown of my existing backyard, front yard, walkway, and patio. Basically I wanted the whole exterior redone. It was over my budget by about $5000 but this being a complete redo, I bit the bullet.

Mitch, Mike, and team are great people. They are super nice and friendly and communicated well throughout. That being said, the project was not without its issues. Our curb stop valve was destroyed during excavation and a new one had to be put in only after I remembered there was a valve there. There were uneven pavers in multiple spots throughout the walkway. Most of these were adjusted after I reported it. Certain plants were not planted as originally designed and I had to look out for it to have them correct it. The project duration also ended up being quite long, roughly 2 months end to end. There were a lot of delays out of their control from bad weather to their storage facility burning down. These caused delays at multiple work sites and I feel they handled it to the best of their ability so I don't blame them for it.

Overall, I would still recommend them with a few conditions - you are diligent in looking over their work or are not too picky about things; you are not on a tight schedule. I feel like the team is lacking a little experience in the interlocking and paving department and maybe they took on a little too much work than they could chew just before the end of the season. In the end, the team was able to address all of the issues before it got too cold with the exception of an incorrect plant and some uneven pavers that are under a 5 year warranty. I have no doubt that in the end the work will be done to your satisfaction and that's why I would recommend Mitch and Bio-Logic.

This is the 3rd that I have hired this company for “lawn care”. They applied A.D.I.O.S. weed control at the beginning of June and those areas that were treated have never fully recovered notwithstanding Bio-Logic’s assurance that it would. I have sent pictures of the damaged areas & e-mails. They initially suggested that the damage was due to the dry weather however, when I pointed out to them that I water every 2nd day and the rest of the lawn is fine, they took a different approach. On June 26 I received an e-mail in response to my complaints, (excerpts) “I will speak to Mitch and ask him when we will come and repair the lawn and will let you know...” “Please tell me what we can do to make this situation better as this is most important to us.” I sent an e-mail in response on June 27th & a follow-up on July 10. I have had no further response from this company. I can only assume that I am not a “valued customer”. There are far too many companies out there that are not willing to accept that sometimes things go wrong and that they need to make it right. I WOULD NOT recommend this company!!!

Made 50% down payment in March. Work began second week of July. Paid $350 for travel time to Toronto for crew of three, who were hard workers, but untrained in gardening and landscaping work. Job was ravine property - plant 20 shrubs on hill and cultivate and reorganize an overgrown 12 by 9 foot perennial side garden; also adjust large stone steps that had moved due to soil slippage going into the ravine. Mitch spent 30 minutes talking to the crew and left me to instruct and supervise the crew on the design placement of the plants in the perennial garden and movement of patio stones to accomodate placement of a stone step down from the deck. Austin did a great job creating a Juniper Bonsai. Three stone steps on the ravine were adjusted but the spaces between the steps were piled with loose soil rather than being properly leveled and graded and laid with gravel for proper drainage. My credit card was charged with the final payment on the job without my authorization.
