The team from Air Force was completely professional through and through from booking to execution. Abed and Paul gave notice and arrived early to the appointment. They were absolutely courteous, clean, and thoughtful. Paul noticed a damper in one of the bedrooms that was almost fully closed and advised me of it. I had no idea we were getting reduced airflow in that bedroom. They were efficient and cleaned up any extra dust that came out of the vents. He even vacuumed my desktop tower for me! Abed also replaced my furnace filter, helped to clean out whatever lint was left in my old dryer vent, and gave me tips on how to prevent cement dust in the furnace room. These two definitely went the extra mile and make it an easy referral from me for duct cleaning services.

Dave was recommended to me by a friend and he did not disappoint. He's a real dependable guy. He arrived a few minutes before his window, got to work with the snake, and 20 minutes later my kitchen sink was draining again. I paid via cheque and he said he wouldn't cash it until he emailed me the receipt and did just that. Pricing was also much better than other quotes that I got. He's a real honest pro that I would not hesitate to recommend.

Simple job to mount a 65" TV above my fireplace. Denis answered all my questions and scheduled the appointment promptly. A team of 2 came as scheduled and laser leveled and installed the TV in about 20 minutes. I provided my own mount. They gave me some suggestions for cable management and didn't try to upsell me on anything. The job was done efficiently and professionally. It's been up for a few months now, no issues.

I approached Bio-Logic because I got a free landscape design offer from my email. After an initial consultation, Mitch designed the landscape to my style and budget and after several iterations, the project was a go. This was for a whole teardown of my existing backyard, front yard, walkway, and patio. Basically I wanted the whole exterior redone. It was over my budget by about $5000 but this being a complete redo, I bit the bullet. Mitch, Mike, and team are great people. They are super nice and friendly and communicated well throughout. That being said, the project was not without its issues. Our curb stop valve was destroyed during excavation and a new one had to be put in only after I remembered there was a valve there. There were uneven pavers in multiple spots throughout the walkway. Most of these were adjusted after I reported it. Certain plants were not planted as originally designed and I had to look out for it to have them correct it. The project duration also ended up being quite long, roughly 2 months end to end. There were a lot of delays out of their control from bad weather to their storage facility burning down. These caused delays at multiple work sites and I feel they handled it to the best of their ability so I don't blame them for it. Overall, I would still recommend them with a few conditions - you are diligent in looking over their work or are not too picky about things; you are not on a tight schedule. I feel like the team is lacking a little experience in the interlocking and paving department and maybe they took on a little too much work than they could chew just before the end of the season. In the end, the team was able to address all of the issues before it got too cold with the exception of an incorrect plant and some uneven pavers that are under a 5 year warranty. I have no doubt that in the end the work will be done to your satisfaction and that's why I would recommend Mitch and Bio-Logic.

I needed to have about 32' of my fence and gate replaced as there were rotting posts and my gate fell off last winter. Pratema gave me the most reasonable quote out of several contractors I contacted. They were pretty behind schedule due to weather, which is out of their control. However, I would have preferred more proactive communication after putting down the deposit especially since the expected work date was delayed several times. At times they were definitely difficult to get a hold of as my calls were not returned. Once they came though, they did a good job taking down the old fence and putting up the new fencing (brown PT). They built me a nice gate with a pretty solid looking latch which I'm pretty happy about. The new fence looks great and the wife likes it too. Up close, I noticed some of the boards had some splinters or curls but I guess I can't expect perfection. They finished within the day and overall I'm pretty satisfied and glad that the fence will be ready for the winter.

Sam came by to do some regular furnace maintenance. He was prompt, courteous, and respectful of the home. He cleaned the cabinet, the flame sensor, flushed condensate tubes, adjusted the gas pressure, tested switches, and ensured that the furnace was operating smoothly. All of this was done in an efficient manner. I would not hesitate to call him again next year.

My house is about 11 years old and the original builder caulking was all cracked. I asked Chris to help me to perform re-caulking of all windows and doors (about 21 openings). Him and his partner are super nice and were a pleasure to deal with. They did a great job removing the old caulking, packing the gap, and then re-caulk with Dow Corning silicone sealant. I noticed that they even re-did the caulking around the pipes and vents as well. Workmanship was great and everything was cleaned up nicely afterwards. Also came with a written 15 year warranty. I would definitely recommend his services to others.

We checked out this place based on other HomeStars reviews and we were not disappointed. Gary is very easy to work with and is very friendly. From the time we walked into his showroom to the end of the job, everything went really smoothly. He measured our countertops and was very patient in answering all of our questions and addressing our concerns. The contract and everything was done in writing and even though we had to make some minor changes to labour after the fact (we didn't require him to remove the old counters), he was flexible and simple charged us less accordingly at the end of the job. Countertop and sink installation was smooth. The plumber he gave us was great as well. All in all it was an excellent job done. I have already referred some of my friends and coworkers to Jade Granite &Quartz.

Mustafa and crew did a great job on my popcorn ceilings on the main floor (approx. 500sf). The work was done on time as originally estimated. He is one of the friendliest guys you'll meet. He is an honest man and told me to get my potlights done before bringing him in to fix up the ceilings so that they come out perfect even though it would be a little more difficult for him. He was reasonably prompt in returning phone calls and giving status updates. During the initial walkthrough, he noticed the walls and the baseboards were in bad shape and offered to patch them up at an extra cost. In the end, the baseboards came out pretty nice and the walls were patched up to my satisfaction. He even helped to patch a large water damaged spot near my shower that I told him that he didn't need to do. I can tell he's a meticulous person because of the quality of the work. However, I am deducting a star for 2 reasons: 1) He left my house key with his partner and I was unable to get it back for 3 days after the job was complete; 2) Before I signed him on to do the job, he stated he was going to use Benjamin Moore ceiling paint. Afterwards, I asked him what paint he used because I needed to fix up my painting miscues, he said he used Para instead because he was price matching another contractor for me. I would've preferred that he told me up front but at least he told me when I asked. All in all, despite the lost star, I would still highly recommend Mustafa and his team to anyone looking to remove popcorn ceilings.
