We contacted TWG for a quote because we liked what we saw on the company's website. The vision Todd presented for our front entrance plus the ideas he had around stonework were wonderful such as adding a stone pillar. He even met us at the stone yard to help us chose the stones and bricks. He was flexible and accommodating about the design (e.g. we wanted a wider step). The construction did not start exactly on time because of weather issues but Todd kept us up-to-date. When the work started this past May, the crew was here until the job was completed. Todd and his crew were very hard-working, always pleasant and polite plus they cleaned up the site. Our front entrance looks amazing and has literally transformed the look of the front of our house! We are so delighted with the final outcome and superior workmanship, we have signed a contract with Todd to do the side walkway of our house this fall.

We are so happy with the work done by TWG that we are planning to use them for many other jobs at our house. We had another company repair our front step a few years back and the job was so badly done, it fell apart the same year. Once we met Todd we knew this was the company we wanted to use. The professionalism was apparent from the first meeting. The guys working on our step were so nice and always left the area clean at night. Our front porch and walkway is so nice that we have neighbours coming up to comment on how much they like it. Todd designed it and even added things that we did not think of. I can not stress enough that this is the company you need to use. We will never use anyone else!!!

We received a number of quotes prior to contacting Todd and Tammy. When Todd showed up at our front door and we all walked outside to see the steps we were looking at replacing, it took about 30 seconds of my wife and I speaking before Todd put us on hold to show us pictures of exactly what we were talking about. Then he pulled up some pictures of another option - which we had initially discounted due to our assumption of price. In a matter of minutes Todd was able to put together two quotes for the options and we realized that our assumption was unfounded. I write this to show that Todd came to the initial meeting very well prepared - with pictures, references, and was able to quote accurately on the spot.

When we were next in the seasonal queue, Todd let us know. Being commuters, my wife and I were unable to watch the project unfold, but the end result was exactly as we had envisioned - and spoken about with Todd. To put it simply, the front steps are perfect. Furthermore, the job site was clean when the project was over - another bonus. TWG's website states that they're not the cheapest contractor in Durham - and that's true - but so is the saying "you get what you pay for". We got timeliness, prompt communication, professionalism, accuracy, and a safe set of front steps. I won't look anywhere else for a landscaping company - I'll phone TWG.

I will definatly recomment this company to anyone and everyone! They were fantastic right from the beginning and cannot say enough about how great they were to work with. From the initial visit by Todd the owner, to the full and complete estimate. He listenned to what I had to say and knew what I wanted, and delivered! My backyard is amazing and doesn't even look like the same place. Wonderful, hardworking crews, with such attention to detail. Got it just right. I definatly hired the right company for the job, and will absolutely use the again!

Originally thought to have a "cheap Concrete" job done by someone else. Then went to check local landscapers and found TWG.
Contacted TWG and spoke to Tammy who was very pleasant and set up an appointment. Todd came and provided me with an estimate which seemed fair to me and I contracted him to do the work to redo our front yard and entrance way.
They did the work and as promised the work was done in a very professional manner and the quality of the project was excellent. My wife and I are very happy with the work and as a result my next door neighbor had her yard done as well.
Both of us and I'm sure my neighbor are very comfortable in recommending TWG for their projects.

Todd had performed our front yard landscaping two years ago. We were so impressed with the quality and workmanship that we knew we would be hiring him again for Phase 2 (our backyard landscaping). Again Todd and his crew exceeded our expectations. Todd was able to design a layout we hadn’t thought of...but was exactly what we were looking for. We especially love the look of the retaining wall!
We would recommend Todd to anyone looking to do any landscaping...including planning the layout.

We are so thrilled with our new front walkway and planter box. The property had sunk near the stairs and had to be excavated and built up. Beautiful stonework was installed, which we chose from looking at TWG's amazing gallery of work. The guys worked so hard, were kind and did a phenominal job. We look forward to coming up with more projects for Todd and the guys. We've kept the price confidential just because the workmanship was worth every cent and was very fair in our opinion.

TWG Landscaping have just finished a complete change to the front of our house. Removed a large pine, a precast 2 stair cement riser to the front porch and removed old sod from lawn. Todd and his crew did a great job. The stairs are now a 4 step curved set with black stone steps and grey interlock, a new wall around the enlarged garden, new sod and a an interlock walkway to the street sidewalk and everything looks great. The TWG crew were very professional and cleaned up at the end of each day so that the work area was relatively clean considering what was being done. I would recommend TWG to anyone considering a landscaping job. Gave TWG an idea of what we wanted to accomplish and they came up with a plan which in the end was everything we asked for and more. Great job! We may re-landscape our back yard in a couple of years and I will be going to TWG to get the work done without question.

We found Todd at a home/landscape show. Of the people we spoke to there he was the most down to earth and yet professional at the same. He followed up on our call and soon had a detailed contract and drawing for our approval. We made a change at that time which was duly incorporated, and we made some changes as the work progressed. Todd made all the arrangements with the utilities for the "Locates to dig". "Todd's crew were very polite and accommodating. I had asked to lay the conduit for the wiring to the lamp post myself and they turned the site over to me one evening and continued the next day. When they were finished the property was left clean and orderly with no damage from the machines. We are very happy with the look and with the quality, and having done this type of work myself, I am very picky. The project has now gone through a winter, and nothing has budged. I felt confident that if there were any additions or repairs required, that Todd would be right there to get it done.

It's June 2014 and the work has held up beautifully over a very harsh winter with very deep frost. I added the final touch to the project and it is all completed. I also added a final picture.

Very easy to work with. I asked to modify the plan after the original quote and the changes were easily incorporated. Fast and efficient on the job site. I couldn't be happier with the end product. The neighbours have commented on the quality of the work.
