This company is terrific! Mark and Scott are both genuine and kind people. Both were excellent and accommodating when we needed to schedule the home inspection. Mark did the inspection and was extremely knowledgeable and patient as I peppered him with questions. He gave a lot of helpful advice about keeping the foundation in good shape, improving efficiency, things to look out for when maintaining the home, etc. He caught many large and small items that required repairs/updates, and all of this was captured in a very thorough report. Highly recommend!!

Unprofessional doesn’t return calls or texts and doesn’t reconfirm appointments. I’ve worked with mark and he was the best but unfortunately now unprofessional behaviour seems to be the norm. I usually don’t post negative reviews but this seems to be normal behaviour for this business

I would NOT recommend the Full Storey Inc to anyone after our experience.

The actual inspection with the inspector was fine and he was said that we could contact him via text/email if any questions come up once we got the report. After realizing that he missed something kind of crucial in our basement we contacted him and HE NEVER GOT BACK TO US. We tried emailing his son who helps with the business but also never heard back. We texted him several times over a month later and still nothing.

It turns out one of our support beams required an additional telescoping beam to hold it up - pretty important foundational issue! We ended up having to pay another structural engineer later on to assess it again.

Although he seemed to know his stuff (and I'm assuming he does?) the fact that we never got any follow up made us question his expertise and definitely his reliability and professionalism.

It's a shame they're that busy or don't care about their clients enough.

Mark did the home inspection for our first home and my wife and I were extremely satisfied. His thoroughness and willingness to look behind/under things helped uncover Asbestos in certain parts of the house, which was thankfully removed as a result. He had so many good small pointers, like making the garage more structurally sound, keeping water out over the long-term, and ensuring better energy efficiency. Plus, he was really helpful in taking the time to discuss different options in addressing the small issues uncovered and expressed a willingness to be contacted in the future for advice. I will definitely be recommending Mark in the future to prospective homebuyers and will also be hiring him again, as required.

Very thorough! Great report with amazing details. Was recommended by a friend I have since recommended to others that share our opinion. If you are buying a house wait until Mark inspects it.

Mark was extremely knowledgeable, and way more thorough than previous home inspectors we'd used. The report is fantastic and includes photos of all of the findings. Very friendly too. Asbestos and electrical issues quickly identified.

Mark Hodgson has done a couple of home inspections for us and he is a consumate professional. Never heavy handed, he is fair, impartial, and tells it like it is. he finds things that I would never even think of and prersents it in a manner that always protects the future home owner. Great company and person to deal with in the Ottawa valley area.
