I have used Davey Tree three times now, and each time I was pleased with the finished job. Mark and his team are friendly and professional and made sure that I was happy with their work.

DO NOT TRUST these guys. They cut down the tree no problem, but claimed several more hours of work to the City than our camera confirmed (man hours & crane rental). $11k+ later I have no justice for the over-billing.

On August 1, had Davey Tree come and prune 3 large mature trees - 1 Norway Maple, 1 Crimson King, and 1 Birch Tree. Because of the size of the Norway, it turned into a 2-day venture with the arborist coming the next day to complete the job. I have always been pleased with Davey Tree staff's work, but this time it was beyond exceptional. The Norway required a lot of pruning (note it is so large, from across the street it looks like 2 trees in our backyard) it was done with the utmost care taken to ensure no damage to the surrounding area and the cleanup was excellent. There is also a tall cedar hedge in the back that required trimming and this too was done extremely well, with excellent cleanup.
The 2nd day was the 2 trees at the front and the cedars as well. Again, an excellent job and cleanup.

(NOTE: the price quoted to me was lower than it should have been as the staff who quoted forgot to add the 2 front trees; however, he confirmed we had discussed doing all 3 trees and Davey honoured the quote.j)

They removed a few branches from a large tree. It was two branches that were extending toward house over chimney that insurance siad was a fire hazard. They responded quickly for quote. There were fast, efficient, came when they said they would, and did what was asked, no mess. Expensive but good work

Davey were able to help remove a 40' long branch that had fallen awkwardly on our garage. It was a two person job that they completed in a day. I have also had them prune 2 100+ year old trees on our property to ensure there health and safety

Davey Tree has been pruning my trees for years - mostly small jobs from storm damage and disease. They are professional, reasonable, give honest opinions of worrk needed and clear all debris from the job. Now I have a big job to save a heritage apple tree that is the star of my back yard. They will get the call.
