We were extremely pleased with Rob Shams and his crew. They were quick, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the products. We also found the company to be very responsive to new/additional questions and queries about their products.

We had a Mitsubishi ductless air conditioner installed in a second floor bedroom. Rob Shams came to give us an estimate and it was a pleasure to deal with him. He was very knowledgeable about the various products and the installation options. He is an excellent listener and communicator. The installation crew was very professional and efficient. Their work was precise and neat and tidy. Again, the men were very good at communication. All appointments were kept exactly on time, and Rob was readily available by telephone and email when I had questions. When the installation was finished, Rob came by to personally teach us how to operate and maintain the unit. We are extremely pleased with the new AC and with the service we received from this company.

A few years ago I had a great experience with this company. Sales rep Rob came to my house and took the time to explain all the options for a new furnace and air conditioner. It was a great experience and I had referred others to this company after that.
Unfortunately, I no longer feel like a valued, respected customer. I had a service appointment scheduled today for 9am. When the rep was late and I had not heard anything, I began calling the company. I called 5 times and was not able to speak to anyone. The outgoing message said they opened at 8:30am but I could not get a receptionist or anyone in service etc when I pushed those extensions. I kept getting vms and it was now 9:30. I did not know whether the person was coming or not, and obviously I needed to get to work.
I eventually got through to speak with the head of the company who happened to answer the phones. He was short with me and told me someone would be there shortly. When I asked questions to confirm if he knew this for sure, so I didn't continue to wait for no one. He became rude, called me demanding, said there were lots of calls that morning and they were very busy. He said I could either wait or cancel and find another company. He did not seem apologetic for the person being late and did not seem to understand why this would be an inconvenience to me.
Sacha arrived for the appointment shortly after the call. He did apologize for the lateness and my experience on the call. However, given my disrespectful experience with the head of the company who doesn't seem to value my business as he himself sent me elsewhere - I will do just that.
If you want to contact Rob for a quote for your furnace, I had a positive experience but be weary that you will be starting a relationship with a company that will not value your business in the long term for maintenance appointments etc.

Dealing with Rob was a pleasure. Very professional and very knowledgeble he found the best solutions for each installation and supervised Stasha the installer to insure superb workmanship.
Stasha the installer was also excellent and very creative at overcoming any installation problems.
On the day of the installation, they were promptly on time, worked very clean and cleaned up after themselves.
It's one thing to buy a product but another to buy it with superb service and workmanship. And even with some small difficulties in the radiator installation they came in at the original quote and finished on time as promise. Great company, great service!

We spent a lot of time, perhaps too much, trying to find the right deal on the best furnace we could afford. We ended up getting pretty confused about who was telling the whole story and who was not. Most came in, but not all, saying bad things about their competitors. We did not know what to believe. Research on the Internet did not help much. Finally, I came across Wallteck Mechanical while searching for info on a particular brand of furnace. I had spoken to them previously about another matter and, as they were more-or-less in my neighbourhood, I gave them a call. What I realized at that point was that you were not buying the furnace as much as you were buying the person and their installation. Any decent quality furnace and AC will serve you well if it is installed correctly.

Rob from Wallteck was great. He was thorough, informative and did not once say anything bad about his competitors. His price was very competitive (although it was all more than I expected it to be before I started this process), and Mirco and Alex did a great job on the installation, working with me to solve placement issue for the AC and adding in a cold air return in the basement. Rob was back to inspect and make sure everything was perfect and even waited around until well past quitting time, waiting for me to run to home depot to buy a ceramic bit to drill a hole through some ceramic tiles for the drain. Great customer service.

Remember, buy the installation and service ... not so much the actual unit. We highly recommend Wallteck Mechanical. Truly, this is a great company that does what it says and does it very well.

Sash arrived between the time frame promised. He was a very pleasant young man who had no problem with me watching him while he worked. He explained what he was doing very clearly and answered any questions that I had. He cleaned up well before he left.

Ductless Air Conditioning --- We first used Rob at Walltek in 2006 when we were looking to add ductless a/c to our older midtown home on the 2nd floor and in the 3rd floor attic. Rob was very knowledgeable and helpful during the entire process. We had already received several quotes from other local companies - Rob's advice on placement, size of unit, etc... was consistent with the other good quality companies and far superior to some other sub-standard companies. The work his crew did was excellent and they left the worksite tidy inside and outside. Pricing was excellent, clear and fair.

Gas Boiler --- This past winter, we returned from vacation in January to find our natural gas boiled had broken down. Walltek didn't service our brand of boiler so we went with another company and they were unable to fix the problem despite numerous visits. Eventually we decided to replace the old unit with a high efficiency unit (the block heaters, wood fires and stress with a 6 month old at home were too much to deal with). At this point, we called Walltek and a few other companies for quotes. Rob's price was the best for a Viesmann Vitodens unit. There were some issues with the unit in terms of adjustments to be made and it being slight out of tolerance from the factory. Rob came back to the house on several occasions and did everything possible to help fix the issues. We were even more impressed at this point with his level of personal service and care. He goes out of his way to stand behind his product and his company.

I called Walltek for my Fathers home after I had a bad experience with another company.

They did not do a bad job. They took the time to install properly.
Excellent service from sale to installation.

One small complaint/observation, they did not seal the outer wall well when they ported the high efficiency furnace exhaust. I had to properly fill the hole in the wall.

Other than that they did okay.

Bought a Napoleon BBQ from this place. Their pricing is the same as the other well-known BBQ specialties stores. However, what stands out is that they deliver, assemble, and test it free of charge whereas the other places would charge extra. The service of the people there are on time, cordial, and professional.

They install a new 52" Montigo gas fireplace. Price was good. Bijoun was very accomodating and easy to work with. Installation was smooth and on time. Fireplace looks amazing and very contempory.
