The control arm was ripped right off of the door on Wednesday late afternoon. The garage door could only be opened manually at that point. I called and was advised they could come right away or come the next day. i chose next day. Pavel was courteous by calling that same day and asking me my choice of when I wanted the service. The next day Pavel gave me another courtesy call to inform me of his time of arrival . He gave advice on the door fix. Asked for approval and completed the job Good job and reasonable price.

This was the first time I have ever hired movers. In the past I recruited some friends and rented a truck for the day. By the end we would all be exhausted and sore. Because I have a back injury and aldo because it was mid week I decided to call Best Way To Move rayhrr thsn hasstle my friends and family ... Again. Serge sent two guys (Alex and Sergey) , They showed up on time and were courteous. I was relieved to have this move with little effort. The guys were great and the price was very reasonsble. They will be my first call for my next move.

I needed some work done to update the basement and some room upstairs. I found it difficult to find a reliable good working contractor that would not leave me in a lurch. I found Ben the Builder. I was pleasantly surprised with his work and work ethic. He listen to what I needed and delivered all at a reasonable price. He called when he knew he would not be able to work. He also provided regular updates as to progress or called if there were any questions or concerns. Good all around jack of all trades.

Dennis and his crew from the start to the very end were very respectful in terms of time, my property and cost and quality. At first I thought he was like all the other contractors I have dealt with in the past. Promise the world deliver fraction. He completed the work within the range he stated. If he was coming late he would call to let me know. If he wanted to stay late he would ask first. At the end of the job not only was the quality of the renovation top notch but he cleaned up and organized. The bathroom was gutted to the wall and rebuilt. Awesome work! I would recommend Dennis/DNA renovation to anyone.

I called Walltek for my Fathers home after I had a bad experience with another company. They did not do a bad job. They took the time to install properly. Excellent service from sale to installation. One small complaint/observation, they did not seal the outer wall well when they ported the high efficiency furnace exhaust. I had to properly fill the hole in the wall. Other than that they did okay.

I had Aire one sell me a mid efficiency Lennox gas furnace in 2001. Here we are in 2009 and the furnace still does not work properly. They offer a 10 year parts and labour warranty on the basis you use them for yearly maintenance. These same people have not been able to have my furnace run reliably. A Lennox representative came with a technician after 7 years of complaints. They found a connection not properly grounded causing part of my woes. Still no apology or claim of fault on their part. The furnace needs regular service because of the poor installation. To this date they have not been able to make this furnace reliably. I did buy one of the better Lennox models. If it were a lemon they still should be able to make it function reliably. I found that the technicians and the manager at Aire one seem to point the blame on the home owner rather than take the onus and fix their mistakes to resolve the issue. Be very careful when dealing with this location of Aire One. Don't get roped into the 10 year warranty based on them providing you service. In the end you pay for it. Also get everything on paper. Regardless of how small. These guys don't seem on the up and up. It's unfortunate these people are allowed to stay in business.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Rather than post a note on Homestars asking to help, help when the owner informs you there is a problem. Not only when a bad review is posted.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Ask questions. Ask to speak to previous customers. Customers that had problems not those listed as referrals

I had the old aluminum windows and storm doors replaced. Initially the salesman messed up. He stated he missed a window and I needed to pay an additional $500 +. I think he may have done this on purpose in order to get the job considering my house is only 1000 sq ft. and he looked at and measured every window himself. No problem with the product. Beautiful windows. Beautifully installed. However, the storm doors are a nightmare. Bad install. They never completely installed the doors. I am very disappointed in them for this. If they couldn't do the doors properly they should have just said they could not do them rather do a hack job.
