They are unethical in their pricing.

We live in a mobile home. We had a leak under the crawl space. We had been without water for three days, they came at the end of the day and we had an insurance inspector coming in the morning. When they told us it was base rate $550 to go under the crawl space, $95 for the service call plus tax we were horrified but had no time to get someone else. The plumber told us all plumbing companies charge a base rate for crawl spaces and we wouldn’t find anyone cheaper. This was not true. After the fact, I called plumbing companies and restoration companies and they charge by the hour, no base rate for crawl spaces. Our bill for one hours work was $728. Well lesson learned. Always ask questions before hiring a plumbing company. Never use Plumb Tech and warn your friends.

Plumb Tech Chatham. What a f’n joke.....
Called requesting a repair to a 3/4” T reduced to a 1/2” as it had a pinhole. Tech was there approx 3/4 hour to complete the job. Received the invoice for $588.63.
WTF... 3/4 hour and that expense. The part itself costs less than $4. Unfortunately 3 discussions with Wes the owner were met with rude and ignorance. Come to find out after the fact, this company has a bad name for itself regarding the charges.

It was a Saturday, of course, when our toilet broke down. Tring to find a repairman willing to come on a Saturday morning proved to be quite a challenge. Finally our local hardware gave us the name of this company. They arrived within an hour. Not surprisingly the toilet was pretty well beyond repair, being 50 years old (came with the house). Having crohns it was imperative that I have a working toilet at all times. To my extreme delight, the repairman had a new one in his truck and, even better it was eco-friendly. Even though it was on short notice and a weekend, he was able to take the old one out and install the new one, all within abuut an hour's time. I was expecting a much higher cost, esepecially as it was a Saturday and on such short notice and considering the amount of work involved. I was extremely pleased and relieved, considering my medical condition. The service was excellent, the price much lower than I was dreading and, though it's been about 8 months we've had not one problem with it. For the first time in the years since getting Crohns, I have a trustworthy toilet and never have my past morning worries.

Charged $1900 (+$69 service fee) for about 7hrs work. They left knowing there was a small pin hole leak. Call to have them come back to complete and would not and hung up on me. After spending $1969.00 I had to spend a hour to complete the job very unsatisfied.
