15 years of giving me great service

Lloyd fix my problems with my Nest thermostat. His knowledge and great service continues to impress. Quick courteous service. He installed my furnace and air conditioner and ran a gas line to my stove. Never had any less than superfluous results.
Thanks
Lloyd

Fixing garage furnace

The said company was retained to repair a garage furnace. The repair included replacing a damaged electronic gas valve. A total of $667 was charged for the repair. The furnace was tested several days later, however, the device did not function. A follow up call resulted in company representatives examining the furnace and concluding that the furnace is functioning, yet no coherent explanation was provided as of prior malfunction. This time another $120 was charged. Upon enquiring as of why a follow up call on a repair is chargeable, condescending remarks such as "we are not a charity" were made by company manager. Also although receipts were provided on both occasions, the first one contained inconsistent information. For example, the valve price on the receipt was noted twice, first as $347.70 and second as $367.70. The latter price was used to calculate the total, which also included the curious item "truck" evaluated at $30 - presumably a mileage charge, as the owner claimed he had to go buy the part. However, the owner refused to provide an original part receipt upon request. To summarize: It is difficult to comprehend why would a furnace not function when tested after being "repaired", yet it will start functioning after a second visit. Second, why would a follow up visit for an apparent malfunction after a "repair" had to be charged for. Third, the refusal of the company manager to provide an original receipt for a part he claimed to have been replaced, along with the fact that two different prices for the said part were quoted, casts serious doubt upon manager's integrity. Several attempts to resolve the issue with the manager were futile.

Furnace part relacement.

This is a terrible company. The tech that came out was condescending, the problem was written on his service order uet he did not even make an attempt to repair the pronlem, merely tld me an unrelated piece would cost 600 to replace, then charged me 126.00 for doing nothing. I had to have a different company come two days later who replaced the piece and paid them 185.00. Their work was wonderful. Knight did not respond to my emails requesting a refund, mow made any effort to apologize or deal with the issue at all. Do not use this company, they will charge you for looking at the furnace, then not do any work on it and you will just have to pay again to get someone else to actually fix it.

Heating Service

I had called around to a few different companies, and Knight Heating was the only one that called me back in the early morning hours. We were in need of service for our heating, as we had no heat, and the technician that came to our home that same morning was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about our Bryant furnace. A simple part was replaced, we had heat and he was on his way. We had a great experience with Knight Heating and would use this company again.

Furnace Ignitor

This was the second and LAST time I will use this company. The first time I used them I felt taken advantage of due to the bill they handed me after minimal time "On the job". Now a second time I am left feeling the same. It boils down to customer service and this company Severely lacks that. I was handed a bill for close to $300 for a job that took 15 minutes to replace a part that costs $90.00. Do not use this company! They take advantage of people and they should not be supported. It's sad because I went with them with the mind set of Supporting small business's but in the end I wish I had gone with my gut which was with a very Well known company which Will be used next time. Which is a bummer for this company because according to them we will need to replace our furnish shortly.

Furnace

If anyone has any issues with HVAC (heating, venting and air conditioning) DON'T use Knight heating ltd. The owner or manager there put my other half in tears. In my opinion this company is a Mickey Mouse outfit and operates in an extremely unprofessional manner. I was also way overcharged (in my opinion).

Water softener installation & hot water tank repairs

Saw Knight Heating at the home show and had him install a water softener and have repairs done to the hot water tank. The repairs to the hot water tank were incomplete and did not replace the valve as requested. Called Lloyd and he was very belligerent, terrible customer service! His employee came and changed the valve, and we were charged for two service call fees even though it was his error! Will NEVER use this service again! Think twice before calling him.

Furnace & water heating system install and maintainance

While I have no beefs about technicians, I rue the days I have any questions about the bill. Lloyd, the main customer contact, is exceptionally protective of his bottom line and treats me to a world of pandering, insulting and abrasive arguments, bordering on (though never crossing into) abusive territory. He's the expert. You're just a pleeb with a cheque book. Take a pass.

Air conditioner & furnace install, new ducting throughout older house.

Four years ago, this company installed a new, high-end heating & air conditioning system in our home that has never worked properly. They came back several times to fix it but were not successful. They blamed our imaginations, the electrician, the project manager, everyone but themselves for the problems. We asked them not to come back again & have had to pay another company to fix the problems, which are ongoing.
