Needed a new roof but didn't want shingles. A friend recommended this company. They came out right away and the job was done on time. Love the roof and would recommend this company 100%.

In late 2010 I called New Steel Roofers to do the roof of my house and they did a great job. This time I called because the roof on my garage was deteriorating. I called and spoke to Holly who was very professional and I gave her all the details on my garage and she said she would email me with the price and the job description. It wasn't long before I received the email and I immediately accepted the proposal for the Eco-tile. Holly was always involved in the process by either calling or emailing me at the earliest. Within less than a month, I had the roofing product delivered and Reddy attended two days later and began installation. Reddy was on time, clean, professional and meticulous. He was a true expert on the install. I just wanted to thank all at New Steel Roofers for another job well done. New Steel Roofers is truly a great company to deal with.

We first learned of New Steel Roofers at the Toronto Home and Reno Show where we were introduced to their Metstar Slate-Series product. Compared to all the other steel roof products that we researched, the Metstar granulated steel shingles were the only product line that provided the "look" and "texture" of asphalt shingles with the durability of steel.

The salesman Chris was prompt to visit our house and provide a detailed quotation. He was also very polite, friendly and readily available by phone to answer questions throughout the entire installation.

We had 3 other steel roofing companies provide competitive quotes and New Steel Roofers pricing was competitive - but not the cheapest.

Installation was estimated to take up to 15 business days (weather permitting) and the job was completed within this timeframe.

The installation crews were polite and hard working. They did their best to clean-up every night however, I am still picking up cigarette butts out of our gardens. (I wish they would use a can or ashtray or something...)

All things considered, we are extremely pleased with the product quality and the professional and skilled workmanship of the installers. I would definitely recommend New Steel Roofers to anyone considering to replace their roof with a steel product.

If I could offer one constructive criticism to New Steel Roofers it would be regarding safety. We have quite a high and steep pitched roof. Not once did I notice the workers on the roof tie-off as required by law. This is a huge liability! In fact, one day when the workers did not show up, we were informed that it was because one of them had fallen off our roof! Luckily the ground below was soft and I was told he was OK.

A minor issue, but I recall being a bit frustrated when, to take advantage of good weather, we agreed to have the crew work both Saturday and Sunday which was quite disruptive to our weekend schedule-only to have them not show up on the Monday without any notice.

I met New Steel Roofers at the National Home Snow in Spring of 2017, I had been researching metal roofs and getting multiple quotes for the previous 6 months; I tend to do a lot of homework to inform myself. Their price was VERY competitive, as well they spent significant time answering all my questions giving me a great level of comfort. On top of that I am installing a solar system on my roof so I needed a product that work well with solar systems and a roofing company that would work with my solar contractor to ensure there were no surprises. That said, the staff from New Steel Roofers called my solar company and took the time to ensure they were on the same page. The communication, installation and attention to detail were excellent. On top of that they they had a great price. I feel very comfortable saying I learned a fair bit about metal roofs through this process and feel I made a wise decision. Had this for 2 winters now and love the roof; it definitely adds value to the home. All staff at New Steel were very pleasant to deal with and were very accommodating. Installers were careful with their work, especially in regards to safety and ensured that scaffolding was used where necessary. The only problem with the painted steel product is after an ice storm, sheets of ice will slide down creating a big bang as the ice is broken up by the icebreakers, but in our case fragments of ice would also crash onto our neighbours side wall as the it falls off. Just something to bear in mind.

After witnessing a neighbour getting a new roof from NEW STEEL ROOFERS, INC, we called this company as it was time for a new roof for our home. New Steel Roofers was the way to go for us because nobody, including us, wants to tackle the task of shingling a roof every twenty years. There is no teardown on existing shingles which means no labour and no shingling waste which is good for our environment.
The salesperson, administrator, delivery people and construction workers were wonderful; everything was done perfectly by NEW STEEL ROOFERS, INC. We decided to add a new skylight to add light into our upstairs dark hallway. Now every very time I go upstairs, on a beautiful day, I am welcomed by a ray of sunshine; during the evening a full moon may appear which adds a hint of light. I am happy to report that during a big rainstorm, there were no leaks from this rooftop window. We are very please and will encourage our family, neighbours and friends to replace their roof from shingles to steel. We highly recommend NEW STEEL ROOFERS, INC. ; this is a wonderful investment to our home.

We are so happy to have our new steel roof by New Steel Roofers. It looks fabulous!!! We live in an old heritage home and needed approval from the heritage board to use steel shingles. Max was very accommodating and honored his quote even though it took us much longer than anticipated to get city approval. The workers were polite and neat and efficient. They worked long hours in the cold to finish our roof on time. Neighbors and passers-by all admire our new roof. It looks like slate--but less costly!! Thank you for all of your hard work. Finally we have a roof that doesn't leak!! For life!!

New Steel Roofers were a pleasure to work with. Upon meeting us they did not pressure us at all and provided samples to help us select a beautiful stone coated steel roof (back in 2011).

The installers were very nice, hardworking and very tidy. They actually knocked on the door one day to tell me that a piece of debris accidentally got away from them and fell into my neighbour's yard. I was very impressed when I considered all of the garbage that other roofers let fly all over the place without a thought for neighbours.

I am very proud of my roof which is the best in the neighbourhood. I highly recommend the extra expense for the stone coating as I was not fond of the shiny metal and the snow catching brackets. I still don't understand why people put up those ugly asphalt shingles that don't last.
