We replaced all the windows in our entire house plus our front door and two sliding doors and they were prompt, reliable, efficient and did a good job. they are also all very pleasant people to work with and no hassles at all. there are three households I know who used them and we were all very happy

After doing an on line quote provided by Becker windows, I thought the price was very good, I became interested in doing the whole house.
Decided to first get another quote from a competitor. The salesman came and suggested that because I have an older home I should go with brick to brick installation.This added an additionl cost to the quote, I wasn't sure if I really needed this extra service, and this made me wary.

Decided to check out becker windows so I visited there showroom on Dufferin Street to view the quality and style of windows they had to offer..
Approximately one week later I made an appointment with Becker Windows and a company representative by the name of Alex came over to give me his estimate.I thought this should be very interesting as I did their on line quote service and it amounted to approx 10K so I thought lets see how close his estimate would be to the on line one that I did..I didn't tell him I did this.

Alex came at the appointed time he appeared very professional and efficient. He explained all of the various designs and features of all of the windows they manufactured. I could tell by the way he measured the windows and spoke about the products he was very efficent, in fact he new from his experience the size of the window before he measured it. I suggested to Alex should I go with brick to brick installation, he said why do you want to waste your money. I said isn't that the best. He said in some instances yes you have to do this however your window frames are in good condition and there is no need to do this. I don't want you to pay for something you dont need. I said what if there is a problem, he stated if for any reason you should have a problem and I am sure you won't we stand behind our products and service.with a written lifetime warranty. I was very impressed.
I mentioned to Alex last year you had a special, in that if I did the whole house you would give me a free patio door. He said that was last year, however I will see what I can do. Alex came through and along with the price which by the way was only a couple of hundred dollars higher that my on line estimate, he gave me a free patio door.
Which by the way the offer was for last year not this year.
We went ahead and made a contract to install all windows. The time line was six weeks from date of order. I was surprised Alex called me on the fifth week and said my order is complete we can install any time that is convenient to you. So the installation was made a week later to appear at 8:00 A.M.
The installers arrived promptly the exact time and date. The installers were very clean and efficent and did excellent work. After completion, all of the old windows were taken away and all debris was taken away. I might mention I am very critical when it comes to workmanship but these installers were the best, I could find no flaw in either the clean up or the installation or the caulking they did around the windows it was all done professionally and with great skill.
Overall I am very very pleased from beginning to end.

Serge helped make the final decision an easier one. We needed the street noise level reduced while improving the kerb appeal of our house. Both have been accomplished. The transferable warranty is an asset for resale value. The govt. rebate was a great "instant discount". The installers were safety conscious, courteous and left us with beautiful workmanship. I'm even saving money now on my heating bill. HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOR THE JOB !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GROUP.

Serge is the man, great contact and very flexible with when the installation can take place. Have used twice now and will used a third to finish off the house.

They did a great job of putting in the windows. The windows are fantastic. The customer service was friendly, helpful, and very informative. I'm happy with my windows. My friends and family have also complimented the windows.

We have had BECKER WINDOWS COME ON TWO OCCASSIONS AND THEY ARE WONDERFUL. nO PRESSURE SALES. GREAT INSTALLATION. They give you upfront government discounts when available. The installation is perfect
each time, and their system of pre window installation is worthwhile.

Just finished getting all new windows installed throughout the house (including bay window), sliding door, and front entry door and I have to say I was amazed at how great it looks. The entry door (Renaissance) was even more impressive. I have received many compliments from neighbours. The installers were great, it took about 2 days to get done and I was impressed. I would recommend Becker Windows and Doors to anyone.

I and my wife had Becker windows installed in our previous place 12 years ago, and it worked great. We just got vinyl windows and Sliding patio door installed by Becker in our new house. It was very nice after so many years to deal with same representatives Serge & Alex again. Even installation crew was the same. We are very pleased. Great product. Everything is done professionally, and exactly as promised. Our house looks and feels great. Strongly recommend Becker to everybody. We will use Becker Windows for all our future projects.

Definately NOT recommended. My original contract and window selection was modified and not honoured during installation. Modifications were not documented properly internally. They refused to correct their mistake. The custom solution is a window immediately beside the front door and a very pointy safety hazard when it is cranked open (especially for children), it was suppsed to be a slider window. I dealt with Alex, who commented that I was a single mother and I found him condascending and beligerent. The quality of the installation and materials was good. Problem resolution and accountabilty, terrible!
Addendum: I have had ZERO interaction with this guy responding below. He can’t even get my name right, has never spoken to me and HE is telling ME whether I’m a happy customer or not? LOL! This is the absurdity I’m dealing with and why I lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
I spoke to Walter the day of the installation to complain (who agreed to replace the erroneous window). Spoke to Alex later on, who claimed Walter was unavailable and there was no documentation regarding the error, so there was no error. Alex also told me HE was the owner and there was no one else I could speak to. He did eventually consent to replace the window, get this... ONLY IF I agreed to thousands of dollars of additional work AND I paid for the installation to correct their mistake. Who would agree to thousands of dollars of additional work from someone who couldn’t get the initial job right and refused to correct it free of charge???
