Mark from Independent Energy Services did an EXCELLENT job! While there, even took care of one pipe that was eventually going to have problems = proactive thinking!

To all who wish to understand my experience using IES.

In 2012, IES specified and installed four (4) PTAC units in my condo. This installation was considered advance technology which warranted a heavy installation cost.

Fast forward to 2020, these units have started to fail, and we are now learning from IES that cannot service or repair. The manufacturer have discontinued these units and a replacement is not available. BTW they charged us to tell us this news!!

So IES assured me that they would find a replacement. After 8 weeks of searching, specifying, quoting, and agreeing on pricing, IES informs that they have decided not to proceed with this order because owner “Rick” feels this is too complicated for them!

So salesperson “Helene” recommended another Contractor.

After their review and his discussion with manufacturer, they have concluded that the replacement units specified again by IES will not fit the purpose intended.

Someone at IES dropped the overall ball on specifying these units.

Not only did you IES waste my time, but they can’t even specify the correct replacement units for an original installation specified and installed by IES.

Rest assured that I will do my part to ensure IES incompetence is shared publicly on social media, contractor reviews, and common discussions.

Have already recommended this company to friends. Excellent , reliable service. Replaced parts, repaired and cleaned system which was not done by our previous maintenance company.
Now know exactly how our system works, thanks to very knowledgeable technicians. Finally ! great service at a reasonable price. Peace of mind.

I got them to switch my house over from oil heat to natural gas I got a furnace and Ac unit put in, they did a great job with the install really friendly and respectful employees had the area cleaner then it was before the install ran me through everything I needed to know on my furnace and Ac unit I will be Using them for future installs that’s for sure highly recommendable company 10/10 from me

My old unit needed to be replaced during the warmest time of the year. Independent Energy got me going in 3 days. Their service technician, Steve Eurrch, was very familiar with the product and completed a flawless install. Their people did a brilliant job sourcing the product and scheduling.

I found Dennis Dan and Justin very professional Courteous and hard workers. They took time to answer my questions and to explain what needed to be done. When they were finished the work the place was spotless I am very satisfied with their work and recommend them to anybody. It’s nice to see a company with old Fashion service and make the job they’re Own

Professional installers, they did the install and all the duct work in a day and a half. The price was average and the time wait was less than a week. awsome!!!
