Culligan HE water treatment system

Merci to Mathieu Drouin for the excellent service he gave us in order to change our water treatment system. We wanted a system more efficient and less cost with the electricity. Mathieu came to our house in St-Eugène. Very Professional and he knows perfectly his products. He analysed the water and our actuel system and proposed us a new one that respond to our needs. Mathieu did his follow up and we are going to have a new system installed next week. Very satisfy with the excellent service that Mathieu provided us.

Water Softener

The Culligan Man arrived in my home mere days after my call to the office. As I live outside the city limits, I am used to waiting a little longer for service appointments. Mick tested my water and checked my old system (not a Culligan), but also tested my filtered water jug with enthusiasm! Even though we had no interest in a reverse osmosis, he was happy to test our filtered water and tell us the results. Obviously, this is a man who enjoys his line of work! He provided us with two different options for the softener, and asked questions relating to our expectations of living in this house. Once we chose our model, he presented incredible financing options options (he had me at 0%!) Less than a week later, josh arrived to complete our installation, explanation, and gift us with free bags of salt. We noticed an immediate difference in the feel of the water and our skin. Even the baby is silkier!
Christine, at the office, has stick handled the entire process and done follow up. We have been promised service reminders by email to ensure that, whatever the system needs to stay in perfect shape is done, but we, first time parents of a very active little man, do not have to remember! There is already enough on our minds.
Thank you, Culligan Man (and Woman!)

Supplied and installed sulphur filter and Water softner

I was referred to Culligan by a friend of mine, who had been using their services for a very long time. I called Culligan to come for an estimate and arranged a meeting with them at my house. The salesperson came by and supplied me with some brochures of their low to high end products. I'm not a fancy person and just wants something to work well, especially since this is the first time I've been on well water. The salesperson was helpful and offered to test the water. He brought in the "test tubes", collected the water, where it turned out I had a bit of iron and sulphur, and the water was obviously hard. He advised us that the iron and sulphur levels aren't very high, but we definitely needed a water softner. No big deal...kind of expected that. He said my neighbour across the street needed a sulphur filter - as soon as you turned on the tap, you could just smell that fowl sulphur smell. It just depends. So we were flipping through the book and found a decent unit for about 2400, unit+service. I tried to get a better deal but he wasn't budging. Anyhow, he did eventually dropped $50 (pretty sure this is the norm that he would give a customer if you tried a little bit hard). I'm sure I could get it for cheaper from another company, like Nelson, but I wanted to deal with a fairly reputable company and didn't want to waste time. Plus, this fellow was pretty good. Anyhow, a few days later, we noticed the sulphur smell! I called the salesperson a few days after the initial smell and asked about the filter. That's another ~$2600. Anyhow, I got everything installed together so the serviceman only needed to be in my house once. The units has been working well, no real big problem - aside from the sulphur smell once in a while when the levels fluctuates. One other thing: I'm a big believer of water testing, even if you have a bacteria killing system. I couldn't figure out why my water was still resulting in "high overgrown bacteria count". So, after I called the health inspector, I spoke with my salesperson and he guided me through it. It was pretty helpful since my water results came out clean! So, the service, as a whole, was great - whether it is about the units, installation, or simply a water problem! He was there by email AND phone. They have bags of salt to sell and deliver, for those interested. I mean, it's like $3 more for a bag than if you go to a regular home depot or whatever. It's not bad if you can't lug it down or up your house.

Water Filtration system

We moved into our new home and right away we noticed a smell coming from the hot water. We called Culligan and Ben came over within a couple of days to access the situation. He was very knowledgable about the product and the neighbourhood. Ben gave us a number of options, which were the lowest price fix, up to the highest. He also gave us his honest opinion.
