Carrington Lighting

When building our home we HAD to use Carrington. Jamie the rep was great on our visits, then stopped communicating with us. He hadn't informed our builder of changes that we had made with him, and WE were charged to fix that error (over $1K).

We wanted hard wired wall sconces. Jamie sent us the options. The one we selected had a cord and we asked if it would be an issue. We were assured by him it wpuld work perfect. Well fast forward. We have had two service calls in 2 weeks, with the installer saying it is the wrong light and would never have worked. Carrington offered to fix AT OUR EXPENSE ($400). It is their error and I would expect them to fix it.

I went to Carrington's to look for lighting for our ensuite renovation. After browsing for a short time Donna approached me to see if I needed assistance. I showed her photos of the tiles as they will be the feature of the room. She helped me find light fixtures for the vanity, above the bath and water closet that compliment the tiles perfectly. I'm excited to see them installed as they will add so much to the overall look of the room.

What a fantastic store! I had driven past it many times before visiting as I always thought it was very expensive. I was pleasantly surprised that it had such a vast expanse of choice from relatively inexpensive through to the very luxurious. I didn't know there was a sale on at the time when we visited so it was nice to get a discount. The lovely sales lady took my details and told me she would let me know when their next sale was on as I said I wanted a chandelier for our living room when we renovate it. I wish all businesses were as accommodating!

My wife and I purchased some new light fixtures and a ceiling fan for our home and found the people at Carrington lighting very friendly and helpful. Not only did they have a great selection, but their prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend them...

Terrible service. Management and installer were not upfront. Installer was late and did not finish the job he was supposed to do. Said he would come back to complete but then never returned.

I went to Carrington to select some light fixtures, about a month later saw a different light fixture that they put on display at their showroom. I talked to the sales rep, and she told me that my original light fixture was a special order and cannot be returned, otherwise it would incur a restocking fee. The original fixture was on back order when I first inquired about exchanging it, so that light was never mounted. It was still brand new in box at their warehouse. When I first picked the original fixture, I was NEVER TOLD THAT WAS A FINAL SALE and no changes can be made. I talked to the manager and she insists that I must pay a restocking fee of 15% to send it back to the manufacturer, since the light was about $1200, I had to pay almost $200. I asked if she stock any lights in her warehouse, and she said that 90% of the lights HAD TO be special ordered from the manufacturer. IF THAT IS THE CASE, WHY DON'T THEY INFORM THE CUSTOMER INITIALLY that there would be a restocking fee if exchanged or returned? I wanted the new light since it matches better to our other bathroom fixtures, I would've picked it if I saw it in the showroom initially. I'll be taking my future business elsewhere for sure. I also felt the sales rep had a bad attitude, she seemed like annoyed when you had to inquire about the different lights.

We went to Carrington Lighting in search of a new light for the stairwell in our home. While there were several sales personnel standing around the front counter, we were not approached to offer help, we had to go up and ask once we had found what we wanted. In our case, we were ok with that, but had we wanted assistance from the start, it would have been upsetting to have been ignored. In the end, we found the light we wanted and on sale, so are content.

We got new lights for our upstairs. They helped us choose lights that all complimented each other in all the rooms upstairs. The staff was very helpful and educated us. The prices were reasonable.

Carrington Lighting had a very good selection on hand for the estate home we were building. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and very quickly picked up on the style of lighting we were looking for.

Carrington was very welcoming and good service.they offered a credit with there store for purchaces. they shows us all our costfree options and were very through. they delivered and intsalled our lighting fixtures. labor cost were reasonable.
