G Bates & Plumbing

Avoid this plumbing company. We hired them to build 2 new washrooms in an office. They were slow, rude, and disinterested in doing a quality job. The finished product was a joke, with plumbing not working properly, water flying out of a floor drain when the toilet flushes, leaking pipes, huge holes in the walls. We had to hire another plumbing company to come in and fix the mess they left.

Horrible service ! Wanted to speak to the manager, Frank regarding my dissatisfaction but unfortunately my phone calls and emails were never returned.
Plumber showed up without proper equipment, we were asked to purchase hard water remover spray and that was the end of the service call. $150 in 10 and no work preformed ! Lots of great plumbing companies out there, stay away from this one!

When everything that could go wrong, did go wrong....3 leaks springing up at the same time - a bathtub leak, faucet drains leaking and toilet that wouldn't stop running - we went to Homestars to find a plumber and came across G Bates Plumbing. After a quick call to get help, Randy arrived to the rescue and solved all 3 problems in less time than it took us to find someone to help! Great service and expert advice - Randy was very friendly, and knowledgeable - at a great price to. Definitely recommend G Bates Plumbing as the go to people for pluming problems.

In 2000 I had a sewer backup and on the recommendation of my insurance company, ING ( now Intact ) I contracted with Bates Plumbing to replace my sewer line from the house to the street. It has now backed up and the reason is they left one foot of the old pipe in the ground. Why no one knows. The Region of Peel has confirmed this. Bates will not even return my phone calls to them asking for an explanation and reparations. I think this is disgusting. It has now been 7 months and I am going to have the repairs done at my own expense. And by the way, a building permit only means the city inspects the work done, not the work contracted to be done so no one is responsible. Be wary of this company and jump in the hole to do your own inspections!

Very satisfied with the overall experience. Very skilled personnel and did the job on time and on budget with no extras. Would definately recommend this company to anyone out there looking for a great plumber.

Replacement completed quickly & efficiently. Cost was very reasonable considering the urgency of the repair. Call was made to their 24 hr. service & completed next day. Job was done with no clean-up required by homeowner.
