I ordered Ecotech Windows Doors 1 entry door, 1 side basement door and 1 garage side entry door(hopefully not garage door).
Ecotech installed me them 2 months late, said because of manufacturer Cobra Doors 2000 Ltd., OK...
I can easily see the light coming from outside when the entry and side basement doors are closed, you can insert your smallest finger between the entry door and its frame when closed. The door locks are very little touching the frame.
I wanted an insulated, secure door but very disappointed with these doors. Never order this company's doors, do not waste your money.
My 11 windows installation was made 1.5 month late because of late delivery of these doors, Ecotech installed the windows but still awaited 2 more weeks for doors installation.
On doors installation day, when unpacking, the entry door was damaged from its closing side and side basement door had white paint on outside brown side because inside colour was white. 6 weeks later somebody came from Cobra and fixed the paint, damage.
When installing the storm door, entry door was short to put it because there was an opening between the main door and the storm. Installer wanted to put a thinner wood but I refused. 7-10 days later he came with the right size wood, made an attachment to the new entry door because Cobra manufactured this part short.
What else I can tell? What a custom made entry door with storm door!!!!!
My wife showed this opening to their technician, he said this door is short of its width about 7-8mm.
Then I called Cobra but they told they are manufacturer, call Ecotech. I called Ecotech but still waiting, no information.
Be far from Cobra Doors wherever you see.
