The flue on our wood burning fireplace isn't working and could not be repaired. It appears the roofers might have dropped something down the chimney which has wedged the flue shut. We have decided to replace the fireplace with natural gas (better for the environment). Mr. Sharma was very helpful and knowledgeable and did not charge us because he couldn't repair the flue. Good old fashioned friendly honest service. Bravo.

I would highly recommend Vancouver Chimney Chief for any of your fireplace needs. He was very kind, punctual (even arrived slightly early) and knowledgable. We had a problem with smoke building up when the tenants above us were having a fire. He took the time to explain the problem to me (a new homeowner and landlord who knows nothing about fireplaces). He offered me solutions that were both budget friendly and those that were long term and energy efficient. I really appreciated that he said I could call anytime if I had any questions or concerns about the fireplaces. I think the service was well worth the cost. Definitely will be calling them again next year.

I used Nitin a few years back for a leaking chimney. I was extremely happy with his same-day service and reasonable price. When I started to experience new leaks in the same area, I called Nitin. He again squeezed me in and came out to Coquitlam to have a look. I was hoping for a simple fix (another repair by Nitin), but it's likely the roof (it was ready for replacement 3 years ago). I am so impressed that Nitin took the time to fit me in again so quickly. Plus, since this was something that had nothing to do with my chimney, he didn't charge me a penny for his time. How nice is that! I will definitely call Nitin again for any future chimney issues.

These guys were courteous, thorough and answered any and all questions. When they left I felt my chimney was safe and clean but also knowing more about how to take care of it.

Emil cleaned my chimney thoroughly as advertised. He found that there was some damage and that the chimney is not safe to use until it gets fixed.

Emil suggested some fixes, but it was a little hard to understand what the different possibilities were, their approximate cost and what the other trade-offs are.

If he had been more clear about what the different options are, I would be more likely to hire them back to complete the repairs. As it stands, though, I will likely get some other quotes first.

I can recommend Nitin wholeheartedly - he came in and cleaned our fireplace, gave us advice, is pleasant/professional. Fairly priced overall. Nice guy. Efficient. Thank you Nitin. Really appreciate everything.

My chimney cap had come off and as a result water was leaking through the drywall even into the basement. It was Friday morning when I called and I didn't expect anyone to come out until Monday, but within 2 hours of my call they completed the repair for a very reasonable price. If I ever have any future chimney issues, I will only be calling the Vancouver Chimney Chief. Their service far exceeded my expectations, and they prices were very reasonable.

Had a leak , they said it was fixed. Paid cash (don't make this mistake). It kept leaking and I complained. I had no feedback only rudeness. Finally someone came out...only to tell me I don't exist...because I paid cash. So they wanted more to try again. I'm out a thousand and since found the good guys! I had every guy around out and they were all terrifyingly see through and freaky. Chimney guys are something else. Hope no one ever has to deal with one. But if you do ? Father and son, that's all I'm going to say.

Bought a house last fall and wanted to clear up the chimney before I moved in - boy it was dirty! Vancouver Chimney Chief came in no time after I called them and swept it clean quickly. Called back to follow up to ensure everything was fine. Definitely would recommend to you!
