I am a customer of the Comfort Shoppe and when I called on Monday about my broken air conditioner, they came right away. By 6p.m the next day I had a new air conditioner installed and working perfectly. I could not ask for better service

I saw my neighbour used The Comfort Shoppe to install their Lennox air conditioner. So I called them to install a Lennox XC21 A/C. Both Emma who dealt with pre-sales and Yvonne who dealt with after-sales are very nice to deal with. They are very responsive! The installer Dana is also very nice. Job was done perfectly! The price is very fair and they even accepted credit card up to amount of $7,500 without adding 3% charge like many other companies do.

The installers arrived on time (even a few minutes early) , began working right away and continued until the job was completed.
They covered the carpet going to the basement with a drop sheet which was much appreciated .
Before leaving, they explained how to achieve maximum efficiency from both units (furnace for winter months & AC for summer)
which included instructions for the new thermostat they installed.
Everything was cleaned up as it was before they started so no mess left.
Cost was pretty comparable to others but I don't believe the cheapest option is the best option when replacing these items.
Great experience & I would definitely recommend The Comfort Shoppe to anyone considering replacing their HVAC units.

The work was done seamless but there was a miscommunication between the original installation plan and the actual installed one, including additional cost.

Gerry and crew were professional, fast and more than willing to answer any of my questions. Not only that, when The Comfort Shoppe couldn't meet the first installation date they moved it UP, not back! How often does that happen? I'm thrilled with the new unit and the fact that it's super efficient.

They removed our oil burner and installed a new high efficiency propane system. They installed an iComfort thermostat and took the time to help me install the app on my phone and connect to the thermostat. The owner, Scott Seeney, came out twice during the installation process to ensure things went smoothly. Well done, Comfort Shoppe! Thank you!

Home Comfort in Bowmanville provided a very good product (Mitsubish).. The work was done very well, would recommend them.

I went in the store and asked to have efficient Fireplace insert. with no remote control...(less things to go wrong)
Got info and Scott came to the house to look at old fireplace and concerns about cover the fireplace opening. Was pleased with Scott and his info.
Got a call from the store giving me 4 quotes from saleslady. Floor model was best deal...it had a remote and asked if I could turn unit on and off with out remote. "Yes "was her reply when I went to the store to look at the floor model it was not hooked up anymore. after purchasing it the installer told me that I did have to use the remote..No explanation at the time of purchasing fireplace insert, that I did have to use the remote as I could not access on and off switch on fireplace insert unless I took the cover off. This is also not easy to do!!! Installer where friendly and good but did not know much about how to use the remote...Told me to read the manual which I downloaded from computer....which did not come with installation. so we where all trying to figure out how to turn fireplace on. Told to read the Manual. I absolutely hate this remote... it is a computer with a mind of it's own if it wants to light my fire or not....lol.. It sure lights my frustration and patience to get it lit...plus embarrassment X4 when I was trying to show company my new fireplace.... they where not impressed... especially after what I told them that it over $4100
My friend has gone to the store several times as he to has tried to start the fireplace too... we were not very pleased with sales lady and only wanted to deal with Scott when I bought it.
The store sent a tect. to look at fireplace... and of coarse it worked. I might of been holding the OFF and flame buttons together too long??!! the fireplace fan also sounds noisier than when it was installed... told that is normal as there is no insulation around it. Of coarse after Tech. left we tried using remote like we where shown, and again it was hard to start...??? Really...have to try several times to start it... when tech was here he had the front plate off and seemed to start easier......Bottom line I am sorry I bought RegencyHR13E as it is very frustrating to start and at times have to walk away as I can not get it started.... thus leaving very frustrated... At least when I tapped the old fireplace on the regulator it started!!!! I feel this is a lot of money for a senior to buy to be frustrated everytime I what to start....Finding I am not wanting to use it because of hard it is too start....
Sure was a waste of my pension monies.
