Akko Ltd Cement Finishers

This past summer we had AKKO pour a stamped concrete patio in our back yard and we love it.Every morning I look out onto the most beautiful patio but it took some very hard work to do such a great job.The patio is large covering the better part of my back yard so there were some challenges and issues that had to be delt with. Any concerns I had were addressed by Chris(company owner)promptly and efficiently I will say Chris truly is a great guy to deal with, he is knowledgeable and will always call back when left a message.I would like to thank all of the hard working crew that came out and did a great job,and not to forget Connie the always friendly voice that answers the office phone always willing to help you out or find someone who can! Thanks for a great patio.

Hired AKKO in 2006 to pour a stamped concrete patio and sidewalk. Came out beautifully. It is now Aug 2020 and still looks great.
This summer I hired AKKO again to pour a broom finish concrete laneway. Very pleased with the final product. The crews that came to my home on both occasions we're primed as a team and complete work quickly and proffessionally.
We are adding an inground pool next year and will definitely use AKKO again.

Concrete work done and we had some issues. We have resolved same amicably. This review is no longer needed. Measures were corrected and we are happy with the outcome at this time.

We had them do our front walk way and porch. They did an excellent job. We loved the stamped design and the coloring were perfect. The staff and crew were great. We even later had them do a front entrance way for our business. Would highly recommend.

Extremely pleased with our stamped patio and sidewalk. Job was completed on time and as they quoted. They cleaned up after themselves daily and took great pride in their work. Highly recommend them.

The job looked ok (not great) when first done, (coloured/stamped concrete) but after a short period of time, there was quite a bit of chipping and some large cracks. They fixed up the cracks somewhat but the chipping looks AWFUL & many excuses - mainly stating 'inferior cement', blaming the cement company. One of the owners is next to impossible to deal with after the fact. (rarely returns a call) A LOT of money spent and little customer service afterwards from this part owner. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. You may get lucky but I would not want to take a chance...

While we do indeed have a concrete patio and front porch, it was not without major headaches. First patio attempt was cracked and full of indentations. Front porch was cracked and not as agreed upon in original contract. Dealing with the owner and his many excuses for his staff was painful. They agreed to rip out and re-do the patio, which still isn't to the standards we expected. The colour and stamp pattern of the patio is correct, however. Our back and side lawn was ruined during the second attempt. We were left to repair and sod ourselves. Front porch facing is crumbling and cracking. In the end, we are left to pay someone else to repair their shoddy work. We would never recommend them to a friend or neighbour.

The job is satisfactory - we are enjoying our patio. There were some problems from poor supervision which were eventually rectified by the company and the supervisor no longer working at the company.
