Connie is an amazing designer, she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She is organized and very meticulous. Connie is a natural, her vision and eye for detail is outstanding. We could not be more pleased with the outcome of our renovation to our kitchen, living room and bathroom. Can't wait to get her back for our next project. Connie is most definitely the best Interior Designer that I have ever worked with! If I could give her 7 stars, I would. We have used her services on multiple projects from a complete re-design of our home in Burlington to an interior overhaul of our restaurant, Lake House, located in the Niagara region. Our house, at just under 7,000 square feet, could have been overwhelming but Connie made every step of the process a pleasure! Connie's attention to detail is unsurpassed. She was able to create our vision better than we could have even imagined for both our home and our restaurant! I highly recommend her services.

We have used CD Designs several times over the past seven years. First and foremost, Connie is very organized and meticulous in every aspect of her projects and has always exceeded our expectations. Requiring little direction, Connie always seems to know exactly what we want or need before we even tell her! As home decor can be an overwhelming experience, it certainly makes a difference when a client and their designer are on the same page.
As an experienced design professional, Connie  devotes a significant amount of time on her job sites, which ensures seamless communication with tradesmen and contractors completing their work in a timely manner.
         
Our most recent project with CD Designs was with the resale home our family currently resides in. Although this house had the floor plan we had always envisioned, the traditional home design and ornate finishings did not coincide with our personal taste. Suffice to say, she had her work cut out for her. Connie did an amazing job transforming our home to a more transitional look. With Connie's dedication to detail, the house was totally revamped.She removed all the heavy draperies from the windows and had California shutters installed.  She also suggested different paint colours for the walls and helped us with selecting new lighting. To make our home more efficient, she designed a beautiful new island for the kitchen and redesigned the laundry room. She then helped with the furnishing of every room in the house! With Connie’s commitment and expertise our new house soon became our “home”.

The decision to undertake a large renovation is overwhelming at best but the decision to circle ourselves with professionals proved to be the best decision we made. We renovated our entire first floor and could not have done it without Connie. She helped with the design of the layout to ensure a beautiful and practical main floor which complimented our lifestyle and personalities. Connie’s experience and knowledge of interior design greatly helped us in making decisions with respect to paint, tiles, fabrics, furniture, window coverings, appliances, hardware, cabinetry, you name it, Connie addressed it, no detail was every overlooked. My husband and I recently moved to the Oakville area and purchased a new condo. Our challenge was finding a designer that we could trust to develop and implement a design plan - from start to finish beginning with paint colors through to furnishings and accessories. As we were new residents of Oakville we did quite a bit of due diligence to find a designer that could help us realize our "dream condo on the lake" Incorporating our vision into her recommendations. Connie is, without a doubt, the best designer we have ever had the pleasure of working with. From the moment we met her and started to work with her, it was very clear Connie had an incredible sense of what we were visioning and able to within a short amount of time, pull together all of the pieces to turn our home into "exactly" what we had envisioned yet not able to do ourselves. Previous to being introduced to Connie and working with her, we spent many months "looking" for the right pieces of furniture or right shade of paint.....but never actually finding the right pieces to fit our condo or lifestyle. In one day "shopping with Connie" we literally found majority of our key design pieces...she definitely knows where to find what you are looking for and spending the time/effort in advance to utilize our time to best advantage. When we look back on scope of our project, it's quite amazing how Connie pulled all of the pieces together - from paint, lighting, furniture to custom work through her team for closet inserts, custom blinds, duvets, headboards ....it was her expertise, attention to detail and knowing exactly what would best suit our space that turned our condo into an amazing space and exceeding our expectations on what it could look like ! I would highly recommend Connie not only for her design capability, but also for her enthusiasm, ability to see the vision and bring it to life ! We hired Connie while we were expecting our first baby, to finish our basement and to create a nursery. Right from the start it was obvious that Connie is a seasoned designer. Her work is impeccable and she makes the renovation experience stress-free for her clients. What impressed us the most about Connie is her ability to troubleshoot; when problems arose, she knew exactly how to handle them. Her work ethic is second to none – she was constantly at the job site, making sure everything was completed to perfection. In fact, even very small flaws that we would have accepted, she did not allow! Our basement is now our oasis and the nursery is beautiful, thanks to Connie’s outstanding work!

Connie is an amazing designer/advisor.
She meticulously planned every detail for my main floor renovation.I felt completely confident leaving many decisions totally up to Connie & Bryan, although they always wanted my approval first.
Connie is definitely a “type A” personality and it shows in everything she does. From organizing the many tradesmen to the minutest detail, nothing is over-looked.
As soon as she heard I was going on a 2 week vacation, she immediately began organizing the trades to do the majority of the “really messy” work during that time period. (such as removal of ceramic floors & laying down new limestone)
I highly recommend CD Designs & I will definitely use them again on my next project.
