Woodchuck Flooring

We bought a new house and took possession mid-August. There were a number of renovations completed in order to make our new home more accessible and these left parts of the existing hardwood floor with gaps. Also, the master bedroom was originally carpeted after an addition was added leaving half without hardwood (this pre-dated us). We hired Woodchuck Flooring to fill the gaps and the half of the bedroom without hardwood floor and refinish the entire floor to a darker stain. Woodchuck Flooring did an amazing job! I'm thrilled with the results, which couldn't have been easy to achieve. They were truly masterful. Our floor looks great! Thank you so much Woodchuck Flooring. If I could give you more than 5 stars I would.

Great to deal with. Our contractor (who installed the flooring for us) recommended going to Woodchuck and I'm glad we did. Brandon (sales staff) was very professional and educated my wife and I re: the different types of wood that were available to us. Just before the project was completed my contractor discovered he had overestimated the square footage for the job so we had to return eight boxes. I was a bit weary about returning them because I didn't think they'd take them back. But, they did and I'm thankful for that.

Good job, final product looks amazing!No damages, very clean, quick and on time! Men took there time and did it right the first time! Men were very professional and experienced!! Would defintely recommend this company to anyone!

What a great experience with this company. The service is wonderful and I am so happy with the new floors. We did run into a bit of a problem with the product (the fault of the manufacturer, not Woodchuck) and the installer was quick to bring the problem to my attention, contact the manufacturer for replacement, and complete the installation promptly. I am totally amazed at the level of professionalism displayed by everyone during this entire experience and I would absolutely recommend Woodchuck.

We were referred by a friend to use them to refinish our upstairs floors. The quote was for ~3K however that was for replacing the hallway (which was tiled and they couldn't guarantee the qualify of the floor once the tile was removed).

Once they removed the tile, the floor was in good shape and they sanded and refinished the floors for the hallway and 3 upstairs rooms. They also repaired a few planks, and installed 1/4-round.

We dealt with Phillip who did the actual work. He was professional, friendly and showed up on time every day (3.5 days total).

Woodchuck Flooring removed old flooring in a bedroom and installed new hardwood floors that matched our old hardwood floors. They started and finished on time with no overage on the budget. Very professional. Would recommend.

My first experience with Woodchuck flooring was over the phone. I called and asked if I could get an estimate for hardwood flooring on the second storey of our condo/townhouse. The reply I got was: "I wouldn't feel right giving you an estimate without seeing the job first". All of the other flooring places that I phoned gave me very rough estimates over the phone but after having Woodchuck come in to measure the job, I realized that I was giving the wrong square footage in the first place. All of the previous estimates were off because Woodchuck was the first people who actually came to my house.

We went into the store on a Saturday morning, and were pleasantly surprised. The showroom is beautiful. We Mike approached us, and was able accommodate our tight timeline (we wanted to have the wood installed before we moved the following week). He came in to measure on the Monday, and gave us his recommendation as to what type of product we could install. We originally decided on a product by Kendall but after talking with Mike about another type of wood, he called the distributor and found out that they had a sale on an identical product, so we got the less expensive but better quality product (Vintage Engineered hardwood flooring).

Installation day rolled around and Joe the installer showed up on time, was very polite, knowledgeable and precise. Since we live in a condo/townhouse, he had to make several trips in order to bring all of the materials and tools upstairs. He never complained about that once! He worked through the entire day without breaking for lunch. He was efficient and very clean. At the end of day one, he had 75% of the job complete, he removed all the garbage and vacuumed up. On day 2, he came back early (on time again) to finish up. I was very pleased with the quality of work.

About a week later, Joe and Dave came back to install the final pieces of wood that covered the gap between the newly installed wood and existing railing's footing. They were friendly and quick, but did a great job.

I would recommend Woodchuck Flooring to anyone who is looking to have hardwood installed; they really know their products and their installers are fantastic. We just love our new floors!

My hat goes off to Woodchuck Flooring! We hired this Company to install brand new floors in the family room and kitchen. Everything was installed properly especially their attention to detail around the kitchen area. They had to work around an island and cabinets, that made the job tricky. But they did a marvelous job. The crew was always on time and very pleasant to work with. They evened help put all the furniture back when they were done. Thanks again!!
