I found a rejected chair in my neighbourhood that had good bones and decided to make it mine. i found some absolutely beautiful material at the shop with the help of Joanne. The material was very expensive and that's why the cost was higher. They replaced all of the inner layers and made the chair comfortable to sit on. Vienna did a fabulous job and all of the corners are just beautiful, which is something i always look for. All that being said and i was 100 percent happy with the result and they are great people there too. They will be my go to people for any future projects.

We brought in a chair that is over 50 years old and the job they did was amazing. The chair was totally destroyed when we brought it in and now it's even better than we imagined!

What a transformation! This sad old chair, which was re-covered in matelasse (not an easy fabric to work with!) now has a new lease on life. The Vienna touch is evident in every detail (note the double row of piping at the edge of the arm) and the workmanship is exemplary. The wooden arms and legs were professionally spray painted off-site (all taken care of by Vienna's proprietor, Ross) at a very reasonable cost. To top it all off, the chair was delivered free of charge - what a lovely bonus!

Ross is highly personable and accommodating, and he really knows his stuff. He and his team are to be commended for their old-world artistry and careful attention to detail. HIGHLY recommended!

We found Vienna by pure chance. We did not know of Homestars at the time. We had some leather straps on the backs of lounge chairs that had deteriorated & broken. We took the straps into Vienna & they were replaced with stronger fabric straps. Very small job that we doubted anyone could be bothered with. They bothered. So when it came to replacing the upholstery on our dining room & kitchen chair seats, that is where we went. And we couldn't be happier!

I dealt with Ross. From the beginning of our communications to delivery of the final product, I have nothing but a stellar review.

Ross was very personable, highly informed & patient. There was no end to the questions I asked & no end to his very comprehensive, intelligent answers. He was always immediately accessible & treated my concerns with the highest of integrity. If there was a particular product he could not provide, he referred me to other suppliers that might be able to do so. He allowed me to take samples to my home to determine my choices.

Some of our work was standard recovering work, but some was not. He recovered several chair seats for high end vintage 1960's fiberglass swivel chairs. This involved re-using the original curved wood seat panels. No small feat.

The price for the work done & the fabrics we chose was more than reasonable. The work done was outstanding.

We have worked with Ross at Vienna several times to reupholster sofas and chairs. Each time has been an excellent experience. Vienna's quality is unbeatable, especially when matching patterns on fabrics. Communication is very good and items are delivered in a timely way. Ross at Vienna was very helpful in suggesting changes to our loveseats designed to meet our current needs. We had 4 armchairs re-upholstered with Vienna: 1 mid-century armchair re-upholstered with black leather, 1 large carved wingback in a durable cotton, and 2 mid-century tub chairs in a micro-suede. I cannot emphasize enough the quality of work and the level of service you will receive here. All around great workmanship and excellent attention to the details.

It turns out you need to buy leather "by the hide", but Vienna was so proactive in finding us a cost-effective solution. They searched out a half hide and passed the cost savings on to us! For the wingback and tub chairs we also got Vienna to paint the legs and exposed wood a glossy black; they came out looking gorgeous!!

Vienna reupholstered a large antique sofa whose expensive fabric had become stained and worn. They were very helpful in setting out our options and tracking down the original material. The cost was substantial due in large part to the material. They promised to pass on any savings once the work was completed. Frankly I didn't expect to see any savings. I was happily surprised when the final bill was in. Not only that but they turned up to the minute to both collect and drop off the sofa. Exceptional service. Highly recommended,

Brought in chair in perfect working order. Got it back with broken frame. They tried to fix it with drywall screws!!!! Said it came in broken. Avoid them like the plague.
