There is a reason Sleep Country requires you to pay by credit card up front: it's because it allows them to dump the stuff down, run out the door and leave you stuck with the problems they generated. Today their delivery men arrived. The men assembled the frame. They announced that it was the wrong frame. They spoke with the Sleep Country store. I am merely the customer, but the shop and the deliverymen acted as though I should be solving the problem. The men left the frame in the middle of the room and did not disassemble it. They left the mattress and the base propped here and there in my small apartment. I can barely move in or out of my rooms. I cannot leave my apartment on the off chance that someone somewhere may do something.

Wayne Campbell is a framer par excellence. I have used him on many occasions over the past ten years, and I cannot recommend him enough. The appearance of his shop is nothing special, so don't be fooled. It belies Mr Campbell's significant talent as a framer. He handles a wide variety of materials from traditional prints and paintings to archival material to three-dimensional objects to stained glass. Inevitably he comes up with solutions that are creative, attractive and reasonably priced. Any friends I have referred have been equally pleased. As well as framing, Mr Campbell does installations. He recently went through my friend's house tidying up old frames and mats, and curating and re-arranging her collection of art and curiosities. It looks wonderful! This man could display a collection of chewing-gum wrappers and it would look fascinating!
