start from the beginning the job was done terrible the cabinets done wrong size asked the installer not to install the cabinets the answer was i'm only installer the counter top the cut off for sink to big and was filled this silicon.after many complains to the company and the home depot the answer was the manager on vacation nobody to make decision for 3 weeks installation was done in jun now aug still in negotiation with the company to finish the job properly and for this price for 20 doors to pay 7000$ you can get a new kitchen never will recommend this company or home depot to some body

I had a representative , who I thought was Home Depot come to my place to provide me a quote on Refacing the cabinets. I chose to proceed with it, and was advise d there was a delay in having the job done, because they were busy. I was asked for a deposit of $2200. They were quick to take the money, but when I canceled the service 3 days in, I have been calling NON-STOP to get my money back. I was assured during my last 3 calls, that a credit was going to be processed, and we are 2 days shy of reaching ONE of me dealing with this. This has been the WORST customer service I received from a company. I will never TRUST or recommend them.

We did our kitchen refacing through Home Depot and the sales person Raymond visited us three times and was extremely patent each time I changed the color. It took couple of weeks to start on the job and Alen the installer completed the entire job in less than two days keeping to the highest level of expectation. A perfect job done very professional and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to reface their kitchen. Thanks TKR.

We went to the Home Depot to have our kitchen refaced. There contractor Total Kitchen Refacing, did the work and we are very happy. The kitchen looks amazing and we are very happy. The installer (Evan) they send was amazing. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for a kitchen renovation.

Hired TK Refacing to update our existing cabinets and install custom pantry. As similar reviews hinted at, after the initial consultation everything went downhill. What was quoted taking 2 days took 2 months to complete.
From providing the wrong handles, sending the incomplete materials, it was one problem after another. Only half the drawers had soft-close hinges after installation. The custom pantry wasn't levelled making the counter installation unnecessarily difficult. To top it off, we were charged the full amount without authorization with only half the job finished. But all these mistakes don't compare to the worst part of our experience: the customer "service". Whether dealing with the receptionist or owner, there was no courtesy, accountability or value added. Giving 1 star to the friendly installer. Home Depot should reconsider their partnership.

I just had my kitchen refaced in a very timely fashion. Bob Harrington of TKR did a superb job! He took time in measuring everything to make sure it was exactly as it should be. I ended up with TKR through Home Depot and purchased Nubold doors and they were of excellent quality. Have seen a lot of horror stories mainly in the U.S. re Home Depot but I can't give them anything other than A plus. Would recommend both companies highly if thinking of doing refacing.

Went to Home Depot to have our kitchen renovated and cabinets refaced. TKR was their prescribed contractor. Initial discussions and measurements went well...after which everything started to go downhill. Prior to work starting we requested for a copy of the contract (details of work to be done) as per our discussion, this was never provided. Counter top was removed even before the replacement was measured, despite coming in and measuring the cabinets twice, TKR did not notice the old cabinets were the "framed" type...hinges used were not suitable to the frames (originals were fine but were worn out), we complained about it and were told there was nothing they could do. The whole project took more than 3 months and is still not complete (pending refund for a pull out garbage that was way below specs). They never call back when we leave messages on their voice mails, we had to go to Home Depot and complain before someone got back to us. The only saving grace was their subcontractors who did the counter top and backsplash. I will never use them or Home Depot again....would rather find a smaller company that pays attention to your needs. For those contemplating on going to Home Depot, make sure you don't pay them in advance and likewise ensure TKR gives you a detailed list of the work to be done. Overall, it was one of the worst deals and company that I have ever encountered.

We chose refacing with some concerns but our cabinets, plumbing and electrical were sound and the layout functional, so we chanced on TKR. We had some struggles getting the right products and had to change styles twice. The quality of the products (Newbold) and the workmanship was excellent. The craftsmen were terrific and they work through some tricky issues: glass tiles, grout colour issues, some odd doors. Final result is spectacular and one-third the cost of a new kitchen.

I had decided to reface by kitchen cupboards. I went to Home Depot and noticed that the before was what I had and i really liked the after. I setup an appt with Home Depot and they sent me Total Kitchen Refacing. From the initial setup to the last person who did the back splash. They were all professional, curtious and extremely informative. I thought a job of this size would take weeks to do. With the exception of the backsplash which we had rescheduled for a later date. The entire kitchen was done in 3 days. We were extremely impressed. We have had so many compliments on our new kitchen and would totally recommend Total Kitchen for any of our Friends and Family.
