Huron did a terrific job of refinishing two rooms, about 600 SF, in our condo. Beautiful result, good crew, clean and prompt. They gave us good advice on finishes and care. Very satisfying.

Nancy, Nicki and Sam provide great service and advice. They speced and installed ten large motorized blinds in our new condo. A very pleasant experience with several challenges along the way. Thanks guys.

Crew (6) removed wall paper from 4 rooms, prepped and painted 7 large rooms, including all woodwork (crown molding, baseboards, mantle, two bookcases). Eight days work. Excellent quality, affable crew. They will be welcome again. Two crew not fully vaccinated.

Contracted to refinish a small floor, table and small steps. Also to paint a bathroom. Terrific work.

I emailed at 8am, Shat was there at 11:30. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the water pump and was gone by 1:30pm. He had the pump in his car. Cannot ask for better service.

We called Grout Restoration Works and Robert came very quickly and provided a thorough quote and explanation of the work. When Raphael came he explained again his process. Both Robert and Raphael are very professional and delivered exactly what they promised made our 15 year old shower look much better.

RAR responded quickly, arrived on schedule and completed the repair quickly. The issues was failing drum roller wheels and dryer idler pully. They also provided some good advice on keeping the dryer in good working order.

Replacing 90 year old chimney rrom the roofline, including a metal liner and new caps. This job was done on time, on budget and well done. Eric and crew are skillful, efficient and cooperative. No complaints. Good for another 90 years?

Job well done. Repairing inside a chimney is slow, dirty, tricky work. Al is methodical, skillfull and very experienced. Hopefully that is it for another 90 years for future owners

As usual, the work was done on time, on budget with good quality. Painters are always good, friendly, clean and professional. This was my 18th project with Finer Edge, some small, some very large. Always first class.

To clean and repair a 9X13 oriental rug, a 12X24 wall to wall carpet and one staircase. This is about my 12th service from Turco-Persion. They are reliable, on time and do excellent work.

This job involved painting four complete rooms and partial painting in nine other rooms, nine colours and 16 gallons of paint. Job was completed in four days by Arben and two colleagues. The result was amazing well done, as usual. Great painters, hard workers, good advice, smart decisions.

Have no illusions, rewiring an old house without renovating is challenging, intrusive, dirty and disruptive. However, the Langstaff & Sloan crew make it as fast and painless as possible. It’s a big job: 700 meters of wire, 67 lights, receptacles and switches; 38 holes cut in ceilings and walls in almost every room; a new panel; about 225 hours of work over six days. Now 9 rooms to repaint in whole or in part. The crew (7 in total) were competent, professional, very creative, cooperative and flexible. After painting and all the disruption, we will have literally “nothing to show for it” but electrical systems that are robust, legal and safe.

This job was done on time and on budget. The job was done efficiently, cleanly and intelligently. Two staff on site were helpful, informative and skilled. I would recomend them anytime.

Once again (17th contract I think) Finer Edge did a superb job. Excellent workmanship, creative ideas and a pleasure to have in the house. FE is not inexpensive but the service and quality are terrific.

Ajay and his crew removed 105 feet of concrete driveway, excavated, replaced 70 feet with two gravel layers and 35 feet with Unilock interlock. The work was well done, on time, on budget. Ajay was creative, hardworking, helpful and pleasant. It was a job well done. Looks great.

We chose refacing with some concerns but our cabinets, plumbing and electrical were sound and the layout functional, so we chanced on TKR. We had some struggles getting the right products and had to change styles twice. The quality of the products (Newbold) and the workmanship was excellent. The craftsmen were terrific and they work through some tricky issues: glass tiles, grout colour issues, some odd doors. Final result is spectacular and one-third the cost of a new kitchen.

Shawn and co. laid vinyl sheet flooring in our kitchen with many, many cut outs. The job was done on time, promptly with excellent quality. Our first project with them and the result was terrific.

Finer Edge did their 15th project in our home: kitchen, bathroom, one bedroom. The crew, Glen and John, were professional, helpful, and excellent, as usual. We have booked them for two more projects, one refinishing and one construction, already.

M&R replaced our roof with several challenges, include removal of two layers of asphalt and one of slate. A big, tough, dirty job done very well by pleasant workers on schedule. The start date was delayed by weather and workloads. We wanted unusual shingles and they were very helpful and cooperative in locating and aquiring these shingles.

We have used Finer Edge 5 or 6 times for paint and stain projects from exterior trim, fences, interior windows, ceiling renovations. Several different crews have been involved and all were pleasant, fast, productive and clean ... the quality was always excellent. Starting on schedule has been a minor issue.

Avonlea did this project when they promised, at the price they agreed and in the time estimated. The materials and workmanship was first class. They made good suggestions and accomodated some changes along the way. A rare, good renovation experience.
