My old water heater burst and I had a flooded basement.

I contacted a few places and was told that they did not work on gas water-combi-heater (heats water and house). I found SAR Gas Services.

I emailed a request to change my mixing valve, upgrade my gas venting to current Ontario code, and install my water heater... on a Wednesday at 4:00pm... then later spoke to friendly staff at around 4:30pm... quickly agreed on an excellent price... they were onsite the next day at around 9:30am... both were knowledgeable, friendly, and clean... they got all the jobs done in a few hours.

I'm very happy with the results and would recommend them to my friends!

I have always had great service from SARS. They were recommended to me by the previous home owner and have always done a great job. It's time to get my furnace maintained again and I will be giving them a call.

A friend of ours who is a widowed elderly immigrant had a contractor bolt on her like a thief in the night. He was a fly by night and went out of business, and didn't seem to care he was leaving her in the dark and out of pocket and a messy furnace situation.

She hired Tony and not only did he clean up the soot that was spewing throughout her house -- he made extensive efforts to see this man's insurance pay her for damages. Only SAR can touch her furnace now.

Tony, Samantha, Gina and his crew are absolutely top notch. They did a large and cumbersome HVAC install in my house and they utilized a relatively small space for the new washer and dryer. They were very friendly, polite, and very hard working. This wasn't an easy job. We are extremely happy.

If you are a tire kicker -- kick your tires and be cheap elsewhere-- they are probably not a good fit.

If you want to pay fairly and get top notch service on your furnace and A/C needs by trustworthy people then SAR is highly recommended.

I am exceedingly disappointed in the service I received from SAR. Tony came by and told me an AC unit would fit a certain area and quoted me for a specific unit. When the workers came in to do the work, the unit wouldn´t fit so he suggested I go with another unit. I had left the cheques for him in my mailbaox and he didn´t return any of my $3000 even though he told me I wouldn´t be charged.

Fantastic experience from quote to completion. Tony sold us a great unit that is perfect for our home and needs. Will definitely use SAR again. The technicians were knowledgeable and courteous. Great warranty and addressed all our concerns. Thank you!!

After a bad experience with one of the big HVAC companies and facing a second night without any heat in mid February, I called SAR Gas. They quoted me a much, much lower price for the new venter motor I needed and agreed to install it the following day. I spoke directly with a repair technician and he was very helpful.
The next day they came later than agreed, but then charged me no labour cost to make up for it. My furnace is now working perfectly.
Great value, service and customer care!

We brought SAR in for service last year they came the same day and got our furnace working. We called them back and again they came the same day and got the furnace working. The furnace quit a third time not to rise again due to motor failure. Expensive motor worth around 1500 installed. Furnace was 10 years old no warranty.

We obtained 3 quotes on a new furnace.SAR was the best. The furnace we ordered did not have a 10 year labour warranty option. Tony went the extra mile the day of install and got us one which did even though the furnace we ordered was in the back of the van at our house.

His people went the extra 100 miles and fixed the poor installation of the previous big name gas company. This was done before they could install the new furnace. This of course took extra time and it was long day. When they left the new furnace was working and we again had heat.

The professionals working for Tony left what can only be described as a work of art. If you need HVAC work done call SAR and talk to Tony you will not be disappointed.
