Out of 3 quotes we picked Pierro's company, and we were glad we did.
Pierro and his guys were always easy to talk to, work with and didn't mind too much if we had to move few studs due to my bad math.
The job came in on budget and they even did few things we didn't ask for, but it made the whole project even better. The job took about twice as long as Deborah thought it should, but hey, it is a reno! The final product is good looking basement that our friends envy and only we see the few small imperfections in finishing.

We requested a quote from Piero @ Pro Z to complete the drywall work for our place of business a couple of years ago and received a response promptly. His quote was reasonable and thorough. We accepted his quote and he started the job on time. The job was delayed a couple of times due to the other contractors. He was understanding and rescheduled his employees to accommodate us. Piero gave us his insight on the work while it was being completed to make the establishment more attractive. His suggestions probably cost him more time in labour, but this proved to me he took pride in the work that he did. The work was completed on time and received great approval from my patrons that entered my premises. Recently I hired Pro Z to complete my basement at home and was pleasantly satisfied with the work. I've dealt with many people in the renovation industry over the years and yet to meet the professionalism of Piero, he is truly a gentlemen in an industry that has it's share of scums. I would not hesitate to recommend Pro Z to anybody.

Prior to hiring Piero (Pro-Z Contracting) I had investigated several other contractors and was not satisfied - either they did not understand what I wanted, or wanted to significantly change my plans and make my project more complicated/expensive than I wanted it to be. Piero and his team seemed to quickly understand the general concept of what I wanted - to make the main floor of my house open concept, renovate the bathroom, and redesign the kitchen. They were able to improve my own vision with recommendations based on their experience and expertise that made the outcome that much better and still within my budget. They were also very flexible and understanding at times when I needed to change my mind about certain things along the way. What I liked most about Piero was his quick responsiveness to any questions or concerns I had, and his ability and willingness to walk me through the reasons for things. When Piero saw something that was not right (e.g. one of my floor joists had been compromised by a previous owner/renovation), he pointed out the concern to me and corrected it rather than just cover it up. The end result is that I am very happy with my renovation (it looks beautiful) and am very confident that it was built right because I was able to see each step and had all my questions answered along the way.

From initial design and layout to final completion, Piero's quote was well within my target budget and was able to finish the job within the specified time he originally promised.
