We had a challenging time even finding a company that would even take on the task of refinishing our 100 year pld floors, but NewRidge didn't hesitate and they did a great job! The floors came out better than we ever imagined amd the customer service was excellent throughout.

We had a fantastic experience with the NewRidge team. Scott was very helpful, polite and responsive. In fact, I requested an estimate at 11 PM on a Saturday, and the next morning Scott had arranged for an in-home estimation later that afternoon. The job was fully completed by the end of the week. The quality was top notch and the service was unparalleled.

Matt, the contractor, arrived on time and impressed us right away with his expertise, knowledge, and honesty. He clearly communicated what he would be able to achieve with our old floors and blew us away with the end result. Our 100 year old floors look brand new.

We would absolutely recommend Scott, Matt, and the NewRidge team to anyone. Our only regret is not taking better "before" pictures.

Communication is on the top of my priorities when choosing a contractor. Scott was brilliant with his communication from the very beginning, and ensured that we had everything covered and there were no surprises. Theirs was among the best estimates we received for the flooring for our condo, and the entire flooring was redone on time and according to schedule. My apartment has some crazy corners and Yvon did a brilliant job of them. I highly recommend Newridge to anyone for their flooring.

We recently purchased a 1960s bungalow with original hardwood floors that were in very rough shape. The floors had previously been refinished poorly, with lots of low spots and wavy lines that you could see in the light. The finish was worn and the wood darkened in places as well as having many drilled holes for cable lines I guess. Matt came by to give us a quote and was so detail oriented in reviewing the condition of the floor, we were confident he would do a great job. He did not disappoint! He really brought the floors back to life, including numerous repairs that blend seamlessly into the existing floor. We had no idea the floor could look so wonderful, extremely pleased. I definitely recommend them for refinishing.

I have dealt with Scott from New Ridge to do my living room floors and they ( peter ) did a great job and was very happy and that's why I had them come back and do my hallway floors and office floors

Simply excellent work from start to finish from Matt & Scott from New Ridge. Original estimate was accurate and more than fair, especially given the high level of craftsmanship. Matt consulted with us throughout about potential problem areas and solutions.

The work done by Sebastien and team was fantastic. The whole process was smooth and great communication every step of the way. The team was always willing to answer questions and did their best to keep the house clean at all times (from all the dust, etc). The overall work and professionalism was truly fantastic.

I contacted Newridge Refinishing Group in late July 2020 to discuss refinishing three levels of a family sidesplit home that we wanted to sell. The home was built in 1962 and the hardwood floors were in original condition with many scratches and looked dingy. Scott quoted us a fair price and agreed to have the work done as quickly as possible due to our tight schedule. We were warned that some of the dark stains on the floor caused most likely by animal stains might not be able to be removed. As we were on a tight budget we decided not to refinish the stairs. Sebastian completed the work quickly and I am extremely satisfied with the results. They went out of their way to accommodate our tight timeline. Although a few of the dark stains in a small den could not be fully removed, all of the other stains and darker patches were removed and the floors look brand new. We were given the option of staining all the floors darker to hide the stains but we declined. I would not hesitate to use Newridge Refinishing again or to recommend them to others. Communication at all times was excellent and the results are superb. My only regret is that we did not refinish the stairs as well as the difference between the stairs and the refinished floors is significant. I have attached Before and After pictures.

We wanted to refinish original hardwood in our hallway and one large bedroom. We requested quotes from three vendors and selected New Ridge Refinishing Group primarily based on their excellent ratings at HomeStars. Communications from Scott were immediate and frequent throughout the project. Matt was the outstanding expert that completed the work - always ontime, fabulous attention to detail, thorough and explained each step of the project.
