Out of all the companies we contacted NewRidge was by far the most communicative. They let us know what was happening every step of the day and the pricing is clearly laid out. We had anticipated to all be at work/school when the stairs were being done however because of Covid we were all home. Rob did a fantastic job of working around all of us being home and having to use the stairs at various parts of the day. The final result is beautiful. I highly recommend them.

Refinished LR/DR and kitchen floor. Some of the floor was stained and I thought it might need to be replaced. Matt was able to refinish theses areas successfully without replacement. The floor looks great and I’m very happy with the result. Matt is a very professional and knowledgeable craftsman who gave great information and explanations to all my questions.

This was a major project that we'd begun planning for in 2019, and after our initial contact with Scott and Lory we felt immediately confident that this was the right fit. We took an unexpected pause through 2020 as COVID struck, and through that time Scott was fully accommodating, flexible, and understanding of the delay. From the very start I felt we could place our trust in Scott and the team at NewRidge: the entire process is set up extremely well from a customer perspective, with a clear an transparent approach to costing out a project and following through on every detail.

We were thrilled to start the project earlier this year; however, we couldn't have anticipated just how happy we'd be. It’s an unbelievable change, and it’s like we have an entirely new (and very much improved) house to wake up in now!

Outcome aside, which we’re thrilled with, we were also extremely grateful to have Lory and Radu running this project, as they were were exemplary. Always communicating with us, extremely flexible in working around us, and just overall two great individuals who are a pleasure to be around. It’s obvious that they take great pride and great care in what they do, and that they wanted us to be happy with the outcome – which we are!

Newridge replaced our old hodgepodge of flooring with engineered hardwood on two floors and vinyl on one floor, and finished it off with new trim. They also refinished one set of wood stairs and replaced a set of carpeted stairs with wood ones. It was a big job, and we are so, so happy with how everything looks and feels. And just as important to me, Lory was great to work with. She helped us make informed choices when we went through the options, which is helpful in a reno process! She's very detail-oriented, communicative, and reliable. We worked with her in our last home, and were happy to hire Newridge again.

We were impressed with NewRidge from the start with the promptness & quality of their initial quote. Of the 4 vendors we requested quotes from, NewRidge was only company to provide an in-house consultation which provided confidence that they were interested in supporting our project. Quotes were detailed and updated for clarity. Pricing was competitive - mid range. Communication was clear and provided via text and video message. The project itself for 3 upstairs bedrooms took 3 days as advised, and all steps clearly communicated. It's a disruptive project to clear out your home to make way for the work, but it's completely worth it. Sebastian & crew were on time, took great care in minimizing the amount of dust and provided a tidy space when complete. The end results are perfect and we would have never imagined our 60 year old floors to have a second life. Happy to report that after 6 months of the work being complete, the entire job has held up beautifully.

I was nervous dealing with a new contractor (as most people are) however from my initial inquiry all the way through to the finished job, this team was extremely great to work with. Very professional and communicative and to top it off, the floors look incredible. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute recommending this company for your work. In a sea of suspect companies, New Ridge refinishing group is an absolute stand out, they delivered everything they said they would and completed the project in Exactley the estimated time. We will be using them again to do our stair refinishing later in the year.

We were looking to find a company to refinish all our hardwood floors and staircases in the house. From start to finish working with New Ridge has been amazing. Scott responded right away to the original quote request submitted, and answered all the questions I had. When Radu came to the house to the formal quoting, he made several recommendations which we didn't even think about, and addressed all areas of concern. Booking the work through New Ridge was simple and straight forward with their online process. Lory and Radu did an amazing job on our floors and stairs. From helping us pick out the post styles, to the custom colour staining, and the adjustments on the fly with the baseboards to address some builder deficiencies in our home, they were great to work with. They did an amazing job and the finished product is even better than we were thinking. Their attention to detail, and the recommendations they made for certain areas helped bring the whole thing together. It was a pleasure having them working in our home, and we’re definitely happy we went with you guys.
