Company website advertises "free" estimate. This is incorrect. By "free" they mean they come look at the problem and say "You have a problem. Might cost you between $200 to $5000 to fix. If you want more specifics, that will cost you $200 for a camera inspection." False advertising. Don't recommend company as if they can't get be truthful in the first 5 minutes, they are unlikely to be truthful about the rest of the work and its costs.
- Approximate cost of services:
- $215.00
- Company Response
Hi AB, First and foremost, our company goes to sites and provides a free estimate where the issue is above ground and/or visible. Most times, we are able to see what the issue is but when the underlying issue is below ground and there is an issue that is not visible to the eye, then we would have to perform work and use our equipment to do a further investigation to locate and diagnose the problem at which time, we inform the customer that there would have to be a charge for service. Some companies will even apply a charge just to come to site whereas our company does not. Our company advertises free estimate, not free service. Which company will come to your site and provide free service without a charge? Your interpretation of a free estimate is misconstrued and as a result of this, you are trying to defame our good name. New Canadian Drain & Plumbing is a very honest and reputable company, as many of our customers can vouch for, and we will continue to deliver the exceptional service that we are recognized for.
