Revi and her team allowed for us to be included in every inch of the design. They offered creative solutions and provided essential recommendations to maintain a consistent vision.
Monacos construction team lead by Steven excelled at coordinating across all of their subcontractors and they kept everything in line and on time the team is always responsive and we felt like every decision made had our best interests in mind.
The process and end result exceeded all expectations.

Had a deck made, concrete pad for a gazebo and a wayfair gazebo installed by the team at Monaco interiors. From the first consult to final touches, we were more than happy with our experience. Price came in very close to estimate and only went over because I added things I wanted to the project. The team who made the deck were awesome and very professional. Highly recommend!

Monaco Interiors is the total package of stylish purposeful design, excellent project management and thorough execution. This is the 3rd project in the past 2 years. Revi, Steven, Russ, Lauren, Ram and their top caliber trades team ensure we have an enjoyable.space to call home. Monaco Interiors, the integrated design/build firm, completely renovated my condominium kitchen and laundry room. I am deeply appreciative of the process and delighted with the outcome. Revi met with me several times to understand my needs and preferences, which I acknowledge were exacting, before applying her hallmark flair to a concept that surpassed my expectations. Her design package included fully illustrated drawings, photographs of all fixtures and finishings, a detailed time frame and a budget that accounted for every detail of the project. I am happy to say that that both the schedule and costing proved to be exact, with no deviations other than a couple of changes made at my behest.

Master builder Steven executed the plans, engaging his own team of knowledgeable and well-trained workers and drawing upon a carefully cultivated network of skilled trades. He visited the site regularly and provided an update on progress and next steps at the end of each week. No detail was too minor for his attention and both he and his team were unfailingly helpful and courteous. They did everything possible to mitigate the discomfort of the renovation: I am forever indebted to them for reinstalling my laundry machines each time they had to be moved to accommodate the work.

We found toward the end of the project that the lighting in the kitchen did not meet our needs. Revi worked tirelessly to identify a solution, proving that for Monaco a project is not complete until the client is fully satisfied.

Such excellence puts Monaco in considerable demand; consider yourself fortunate, indeed, if you become a client.

# 1 on everyone's list - were they ON BUDGET?
Yes - no surprises, seriously - any extras, no matter how major or minor are discussed beforehand and not completed until a change order is signed and approved by the homeowner.

#2 - CUSTOMER SERVICE?
Excellent - any issues/surprises that arise (and trust me they will) are dealt with swiftly and professionally at no cost to you. The staff is excellent and attentive.

#3 - END RESULT?
Amazing!!

What we did: Reno of 100 year old home, ripped out, waterproofed, and rebuilt leaky old basement including installing brand new hvac system, new powder room and mudroom. Removed supporting wall between dining room and kitchen to open up the space - installed new marble kitchen, breakfast bar, beverage center and pantry. Had several built-ins customized to fit the nooks and crannies around our home (excellent craftsmanship), freshened up existing bathroom, and did all those little projects you wished you could get to yourself but never did.

Time line? Several months - a bit longer than expected, due to Covid delays and the fact that we didn't move out during the construction (so grateful that Monaco was able to accommodate our wishes to stay home in order to care for our elderly dog)

FINAL THOUGHTS :
Revi and her husband Steven are an excellent team. She is in charge of design - him construction.
Steven is soft-spoken and kind. Always happy to answer any questions and available when you need him. He hires quality tradespeople and oversees the work himself. What more could you ask for.
Revi is a born leader. Decisive when you need her to be, accommodating when you don't. From day one she tells you her job is to make your own design dreams come true - not hers - and she helps you get there every step of the way. She talked me down from more than one ledge with endless patience and compassion and I was painful, trust me, second guessing and changing my mind a hundred times. She never once made me feel like I was an annoyance and graciously handled every question and concern, no matter how small.

They stand behind their work and their people - hire them - you will not be disappointed.

We engaged Revi's team to support a major renovation to our basement, including adding a spa bathroom, kitchenette/bar, theatre room as well as office/bedroom via a convertible murphy bed/desk. We also had a very tight time constraint (looking to have it finished within 3 months). Now, through no fault of their own (supply chain issues...thanks, pandemic ><), it ended up taking about twice that long. HOWEVER! It was absolutely fabulous upon completion, and we were very much thrilled with the end results :). Revi took all of our (many) ideas, and produced a cohesive, thoughtful and beautiful design, while keeping it very functional. Revi also gently redirected us to other options, when what we were hoping for was not feasible (alas, no barn doors). The renovation team (led by her husband, Steve) did an excellent job of realizing that vision, following up with us throughout. Steve always took the time to talk through with us our questions and issues, to ensure everything was completed to our satisfaction. Revi's team also dealt with an unexpected architectural issue EXTREMELY quickly and cost effectively, bringing in a structural engineer when an issue with a support pillar was discovered (the whole thing was resolved within a week from identification). Also, though her team was fully allocated over the summer, they were still willing to take on the job and were very attentive throughout, which we very much appreciated. Would not hesitate to recommend Monaco Interiors to anyone looking to do a home renovation. Thank you, Revi (and Steve) for yet another excellent job! We interviewed several renovators before choosing Monaco Interiors to renovate, redesign and modernize our kitchen and front powder bathroom. Although we had no previous experience dealing with home renovations, we decided to take a chance with Revi and her team at Monaco Interiors and this proved to be the right choice for us. Revi prepared several designs for our consideration and made many helpful suggestions about how to best utilize our available kitchen space within our budget. We were able to work out a mutually acceptable payment plan. We love our new kitchen and have received many compliments from relatives and friends. Revi was able to incorporate some of our ideas with her own and she did not hesitate to send members of her team back for minor touch ups when required. From the moment we met Revi, we knew we had struck gold. Revi came to meet with us, and instantly understood what we wanted and how to make our house feel like "home" . To say Monaco Interiors is only a design shop is to severely understate the expertise and help Revi and her team provide. We wanted to fully renovate our kitchen, change our floors and roof, redo our stairs, and update lights and furniture around the house. As first time homeowners, you can imagine we had no clue what to do and where to begin, and the stress/helplessness this caused.

Enter Monaco Interiors. We brought our renovation project to Revi and told her we needed help with everything but were constrained by a budget. While this information might have been used by others to take advantage of us, Revi received it with utmost care. She worked with us constantly and around the clock to come up with different designs for our kitchen and stairs, and different options for the lights and furniture to fill the rest of the house. Never once did we feel that Revi was pushing her own agenda, and always felt our voice was the most important in the room. That may sound simple, but the ability to strongly share your expertise while not making it about you is a tricky balance, which Revi achieved perfectly.

But Monaco Interiors is not just a design shop that creates things in ivory towers and leaves you to figure it out. In the initial site visit, Revi made sure to bring her whole team with her and publicly tell them in front of us to treat us with much care and attention. Having them there Day 1 showed the complete breadth of Monaco interior's services, and made us feel reassured that we were in good hands with our first renovation project.

Steven led a team that focused on the renovations, while Andrei was their expert cabinet builder (an essential for a good kitchen). Steven made us feel at ease very early on by showing us some of the key things that needed to be addressed, presenting options on things we could do, and making sure we understood the trade-offs of acting or not acting on things. Like Revi, he shared his breadth and depth of experience and without pushing a certain solution that would have led to unnecessary work. Andrei also made us feel at ease early on, sharing little tidbits of past work he'd done, and of course his custom kitchen cabinets turned out beautifully.

Revi told us that they pride themselves in being able to take care of everything for their clients, and being nice people in the process. We can back this statement a million times over. Never once did we feel Monaco Interiors was inflating work or prices to take advantage of the vulnerability we felt as first time homeowners and first time renovators in the middle of a pandemic. The service they provided us showed their knowledgeable, responsiveness, quality, and care throughout. They worked hard within our budget, suggested cost effective solutions, and were on schedule (a feat given the tight trades markets in this pandemic). The result was a renovation that was less stressful and captured “us”, giving our house a new warmth and energy. We highly recommend Monaco Interiors for any stage of a design and reconstruction project.
