Fix Appliances Ca is a first-rate firm and I recommend them unequivocally. In response to my call for repair of my Huebsch electric clothes dryer, a technician came the same day. He telephoned to confirm his arrival time, greeted me warmly and was courteous and respectful throughout the service call. When he had dismantled the dryer and diagnosed the issues, he called me to examine the faulty parts, patiently explaining the problems. I authorized him to proceed with the repair and to order replacement parts. To my utter astonishment, he was able to obtain them the same evening and returned the following day to complete the repair. He kindly took the opportunity to vacuum the inside of the dryer when it was open and was careful to rebalance the machine after it had been moved on the tile floor of the laundry room. My interaction with Fix Appliances was thoroughly satisfactory and pleasant and I will not hesitate to contact them again should I require appliance service.

Avoid this company. The technician was surly, ineffective and unprofessional. He did not call a half hour before arriving, as I had been told he would. He did not smile or offer any greeting or pleasantry upon arrival. He examined the dryer, diagnosed a problem, confirmed that he did not have the parts with him and indicated that he would order them. He then presented me with a quotation for the repair, which I initially accepted. I then asked to be able to test that the dryer was still in working order before he left and discovered that it was no longer level - it rocked back and forth. He flatly advised me that he had done nothing to make it unlevel. When I continued to express concern about the state of the dryer, he grudgingly adjusted one of the legs. I pointed out that the dryer continued to rock slightly and he advised me that I could get someone else to repair it and that I owed him for the service call! I indicated that I would prefer to get someone else and asked him to cancel the parts order. He then refused to accept an e-transfer in payment for the service call, as I had been told was an option when I placed the call. I insisted that this was the way I preferred to pay and he made it plain that he was unhappy about waiting. When I presented him with the confirmation number for the payment, he left, slamming the door as he left.

Monaco Interiors, the integrated design/build firm, completely renovated my condominium kitchen and laundry room. I am deeply appreciative of the process and delighted with the outcome. Revi met with me several times to understand my needs and preferences, which I acknowledge were exacting, before applying her hallmark flair to a concept that surpassed my expectations. Her design package included fully illustrated drawings, photographs of all fixtures and finishings, a detailed time frame and a budget that accounted for every detail of the project. I am happy to say that that both the schedule and costing proved to be exact, with no deviations other than a couple of changes made at my behest. Master builder Steven executed the plans, engaging his own team of knowledgeable and well-trained workers and drawing upon a carefully cultivated network of skilled trades. He visited the site regularly and provided an update on progress and next steps at the end of each week. No detail was too minor for his attention and both he and his team were unfailingly helpful and courteous. They did everything possible to mitigate the discomfort of the renovation: I am forever indebted to them for reinstalling my laundry machines each time they had to be moved to accommodate the work. We found toward the end of the project that the lighting in the kitchen did not meet our needs. Revi worked tirelessly to identify a solution, proving that for Monaco a project is not complete until the client is fully satisfied. Such excellence puts Monaco in considerable demand; consider yourself fortunate, indeed, if you become a client.

Monaco Interiors is distinguished by its exceptional creativity, integrity and customer care. The design of our master bathroom and storage space by Revi, its principal, was simply inspired. Fully grasping my needs and drawing upon her extensive experience and impeccable taste, she created a beautiful and functional bathroom and an efficient storage pantry from an existing sauna as well as updating and redecorating much of the rest of our home. Her comprehensive, itemized estimate enabled me to allocate my budget to best meet my needs. The payment schedule set out in the contract was clear and subsequent additions were invoiced promptly and clearly. Revi oversaw every step of the construction, liaising effectively with the contractors and keeping me fully informed. No detail was overlooked, including the final selection of accessories for the bathroom vanity. Most important of all, it was clear from start to finish that Revi was fully committed to achieving a highly successful outcome for the project and to ensuring my complete satisfaction. I would be pleased to work with Monaco Interiors again.
