Order

I ordered a sofa and was promised a date ... on the date of delivery I call them and they said it’s not available and that they called but I didn’t get any call from them and I checked my phone record nothing. They said it’s not available hence the change. Second time they do that. This is unprofessional and deceitful

At a Loss....

We purchased 5 appliances (Fridge, Stove, DishWasher, Washer & Dryer) from Leon's in Anjou QC, in September 2020. We confirmed repeatedly that we required the delivery for end of January 2021 which we were assured would not be a problem. After moving into our new home, we were advised there would be delays. At the end of February, we were contacted by the Laval warehouse to advise that the fridge was damaged and that we would have a replacement within a week however they would still none the less deliver our Washer/Dryer and Dishwasher that same day which they did. The stove was still unavailable however they also confirmed that the following week the Fridge and Stove would be delivered at the same time. I complained to the store as apparently per the live chat and store Leons doesnt have an Ombudsman that we have 2 year old and we order with more than enough time to allow for reasonable deliver/delays....... Yet their only solution was to offer me the used floor models instead WHICH WE REFUSED. We have a 2 year old at home, we've been living with no fridge and stove for going on 60 days. Today, they came to finally deliver the Fridge and Stove and GUESS WHAT, they tried to re-deliver the same damaged fridge and floor model stove. My husband and I are furious, they offered no assistance, compensation or solution, we have to sit here and wait for them to tell us when the correct new items are available, not to mention we missed work again to wait for the deliveries to come. WHAT TERRIBLE SERVICE. I cannot believe the experience of purchasing a new home has been tarnished because of Leons. We have had to order in constantly and use a cooler for other items. This is ridiculous and its not like we can just to my folks or inlaws for meals or to prep. Hello COVID? I am appalled by the lack of customer service. The only positive I can say is that both times the delivery operators were great to deal with!

Low quality ripped and stained Wexner Colby recliner

Low quality, ripped, stained and motor makes noise. No quality control or checks at Leons. I bought these two recliners for $

I bought and paid for two recliners on September 11, 2020 which were finally delivered on November 19, 2020.

One of the recliners had a rip and several stains. The other one's motor started making noises after two weeks. Leon's offered to repair the damage. When I told them I ad paid for new recliners not repaired ones they agreed to exchange only the recliner with the rip and stains. On December 3, 2020 they finally sent another recliner but this one also had cuts and stains on it. When I asked them to refund me the money for the recliners they refused.

I am still waiting for the damaged recliner to be replaced.

Worst customer experience

I've been dealing with Leon's for more than 20 years and this is the worst store. It appears that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Very poor communication.....no follow ups whatsoever.

I made a purchase back in May and the transaction was finally closed off on October 11, after many emails, phone calls and even a trip to the store. I sort intervention from the Orangeville store because I was waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting on my purchase. Go to Orangeville store and deal with April. Thank you April for your excellent customer service skills

Furniture Purchase

I purchased furniture online after visiting the store and being approached too closely by the staff. during COVID without masks. (JULY)
In August he chat line said to call the store no one called back, went into the store to get an adjustment but it has not been processed. I have finally received the furniture and I understand the delays in getting stock. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW 6 WEEKS LATER THE ADJUSTMENT HAS NOT BEEN DONE. When you call the main office they transfer to machine and you don't get a call back. BUY FROM ANOTHER COMPANY LEON'S IS NOT WORTH THE HASSEL. I can't imagine if it was a major issue that the response would be any better.

After only 1 month the cushions were changed and went down. I called the store they told me to call the manufacturer which was in china !!!!
They don't have any return or exchange policy no assembly .... nothing

Worst retail experience of my life!

My wife and I just purchased our first home and furnished our entire home through Leon's. All the furniture & Appliances (Approx 20k). The issues started right after the purchase was made and just snowballed. First thing we noticed was an appliance warranty was added to our bill for almost $800 which we never asked for. It took about 3 calls to have that reserved.
The next issues started on our first delivery. We provided the measurements for all door ways and was ensured by sales that all our furniture and appliances would fit. When they brought the appliances over they realized the fridge was to tight to get through the door. They had to take the fridge back, which left us with no fridge.
We went in to choose another fridge, and was told the fridge would not be ready for 3-4 weeks.
When we started examining the furniture that did get into the house we noticed the patio furniture chair was missing a leg. Called leons, was told they would send one to us in 5-6 weeks.
Dishwasher that was provided was also damaged. When we called leons we were told to contact Samsung, that after it was delivered it was no longer Leon's responsibility. We argued with Leons for a few days and was able to get them to bring a new dishwasher. We also made arrangements for them to remove all the old appliances from the house and bring them to the garage.
When the delivery people arrived with the new dishwasher we advised them that they need to remove the old appliances to the garage. They told us that was not on the work order and they were not going to do it. I called leons and the manager who organized the arrangement asked to speak with them. They refused to speak with him and slammed the door in my face and walked out of the house.
After they left the house we told Leons what happened and they said they would arrange for an outside private "Company" to come remove the remaining products. The owner of the company called me Sunday morning around 10am saying that he would be there soon to remove the appliances and asked me if I could help him remove the appliances, because he didnt want to "get anymore guys" to help with the job (I'm assuming so he could pocket all the money). I told him that I wouldnt be able to do that. I then asked him if he could give me a timeline of when he would be coming because I had somewhere to be at 2pm. He said rudly "I will be there soon!" and hung up the phone. 3 hours later, still no one at my house. I called him back asking where he was. Again he said "I told you I will be there soon, give me 20 mins. An hour went by and still no one. I called him back, told him I had to leave and asked to reschedule. He told me to contact leons and figure it out.
I contacted leons and they told me they would have him come back the next day around 5pm. Next day at 5 pm i contacted him. told him what exactly needs to be removed and asked him what time he would be arrving. He again told me he would be there soon (without giving me a time) and also stated "That I better be home this time! not like yesterday".
He showed up at 9:30 pm with one other guy. As soon as he entered the house he came in with an attitude and was visibly upset. As he started to remove the furniture he became more and more aggressive. Yelling that he is "not getting paid enough for all this work! " and that no one told him this is what he had to do. I even cleaned out my fridge and removed the doors to make it a bit easier for him. After he removed the appliances he then told me that he is not going to bring in the fridge that he already did to much work and hes not getting paid enough. He told me to contact Leon's and "Figure it out". I told him that I completely emptied my fridge and removed the doors. And I need that fridge in the house now. He got visibly angry again, argued with me for awhile and eventually went out to get the fridge. This time not even removing his shoes or putting on shoe covers to enter the house, and it was raining.
In his frustration trying to remove the appliances he damaged my walls as well as my door. As per the pictures below.
Never in my life have I experienced such unprofessional behavior from a company. Let alone a company like Leon's, which is one of Canada's biggest furniture stores. I would like all damages repaired and I believe some type of reimbursement is in order. Moving into your first home is supposed to be a fun, exciting and memorable experience. Leons has ruined that and taken that experience away from us. It has been truly beyond stressful.

Sealy Mattress from Leon's

We bought Sealy mattress from Leon's. We put in our bedroom, terrible smell in our bedroom after one night. We search everywhere and finally figure out from Mattress. We called leon's and they sent a person called ' technician'. He used his nose to smell and gave the report said "no smell". Leon's said they can do nothing for this.

The smell is terrible and we are concern this mattress used " sock and molding material. There are health concerns to use this kind of mattress.
