Insta Insulation

From the sales rep, Jason, to the technicians Dave and Stacey, everyone was extremely helpful. If I ha known how simple and cost-effective the procedure twas, I would have done it years ago. (Simple for us anyway) Thanks to Stacy who went above and beyond by working in our attic on the hottest day of the summer!

We needed our garage ceiling and adjoining interior wall to the house spray foamed to both seal and insulate against the cold and off gases since our master bedroom was above the garage.

Jeremey S. came out and did a thorough inspection and explained the process to us. He also made it clear that we were NOT to sleep in the bedroom for at least 24 hours for health reasons.

They were very flexible with timing as we had to hire another company to remove the builder insulation and drywall before they could start their work.

After they completed the work, we noticed that our bedroom floors were actually warm (this was in October) and we did not have to sleep with toques on our head (not kidding!).

Now we can sleep knowing that no off gases from our car will get into the house.

This was our second time using Insta Insulation. After a very good first experience 2 years ago, we contacted them to install spray foam insulation in the garage ceiling. Travis contacted us, and came out to see the job and provided us with an estimate. Since Insta does not remove insulation, Bill Welch took care of that. All work was completed on time and with no problems. We strongly recommend Insta Insulation.

This job started with Jason coming out to do an estimate on my attic and I knew right away this company was different than the rest. Jason took his time and made sure nothing was missed. He offered several tips on how to better ventilate the attic as well as a few other items. He was incredibly knowledgeable and better yet, very honest. I even called Jason when I was having my roof done in regards to roof vent recommendations and even though it had nothing to do with Insta-Insulation, he took the time to speak with me and provide me with all the facts I needed to make an informed decision.

David, Stacey and Domenic were the installers who came to complete the installation and again I was incredibly impressed. They were great to work with; accommodating, very knowledgeable and they've obviously been doing this a while as they knew all the in's and out's of getting this job done right. I can't say enough about these guys, they made it an awesome experience.

I had contracted this company to blow in cellulose into the attic to get an R-50 rating. This was in October 2012. Recently I decided to upgrade my furnace and had an inspector over to the house to check things out so I could get a rebate. He looked in the attic and told me that the most he could rate the attic insulation to be R-30. A representative from the company Insta insulation visited me today and had a look in the attic. He explained clearly why the level of the insulation was as it was. The real problem is proper ventilation in the attic space and that the cellulose was absorbing moisture from the air due to improper ventilation. This caused the level to go down. I am very happy to report that he is going to help me have the roof problem addressed. I'm pleased that the company responded in a timely fashion and I would recommend this company to anyone.

It started out as a DIY project to re-insulate my garage walls. After gutting the garage all walls and ceiling taken down and old insulation removed, I had a much better overall view of my project plus the attic space above the main part of the house. There was only about 1/2inch of very old blown insulation which was packed down and the old batt insulation had been destroyed by rodents in the past. So based on this I decided the whole thing needs new insulation. Since I watch all the home reno shows on TV the only company I knew I was going to call was Insta-Insulation. If they are good enough for Brian and Mike that's all I need to know, I did not even bother to look anyone else up.
So, I called and and made arrangements for a quote. Trevor came out to see the project, we discussed options he made recommendations and we came to an agreement. Spray foam all the garage walls including the inside of the roof, Spray foam on the attic deck and all walls in the attic space, he suggested that I also put up a wall to separate the attic space of the house and the garage, this too would be spray foamed then blown insulation on top in the attic space above the living area. Awesome!
I got the call to book the job, it was done in 3 stages over 3 days, removal of old blown, Spray foam and then Blown.
All crews arrived on time each day and were very friendly and efficient. I had many questions and no matter who I asked they were able to provide a clear and concise answer. The spray foam took pretty much the whole day but it was done well and they took time to mask anything that should not be sprayed (doors, Windows etc)
Overall I am extremely satisfied with the work completed and will use them again to complete the other attic space of my home that needs the old removed and new insulation added.

We had Insta-Insulation prepare a quotation for replacing our R30 (approx.) Fibreglass attic insulation with R50 cellulose. They broke it down nice and cleanly into 3 steps which each had an independent quotation: Suck out old insulation; Add 2 inches of closed cell spray foam insulation; & top up with cellulose to R50. We were uncomfortable with the closed cell spray foam due to the requirement to leave the house for 24 hours during and after spraying due to working from home so we opted for just the suck out of fibreglass and addition of R50 cellulose. The two jobs were quickly scheduled back to back on a Monday and Tuesday and were carried out cleanly and efficiently. I highly recommend their services.

You know the saying right? Good things always come in three’s. Lucky for us it’s not just a saying as our recent experience with Insta Insulation was once again "a home run". After previously having excellent insulation experiences with both our attic and basement spray foam projects, they delivered a positive 3 - peat by helping us out of a jam a contractor had recently helped put us in.
With special consideration and at very short notice, they promptly and professionally delivered high quality services once again . Indeed a responsible and considerate corporate citizen who sincerely earned our customer loyalty for sure! Highly recommended for anyone interested in true customer oriented professional services.

Job was completed in under 2 weeks, from receiving a quotation for insulation upgrade to installation.
David and Aidan, were, prompt, professional, respectful of property both inside and outside and answered any additional questions I had about the blown cellulose insulation.
I am looking forward to a cooler home in summer and warmer in winter.

They worked without complaint on one of the hotter days this
