We had a very pleasant experience with Arturo and his crew at Hickory Dickory Decks in Barrie. From the outset Arturo was very helpful and informative in designing the deck and provided a very detailed quote so we knew exactly what to expect. When we made some changes during construction the installation crew were great with suggestions and Arturo was again prompt and detailed in outlining the cost impacts of our changes and helping us to get what we wanted at a fair price.

The construction crew were outstanding. They always had time to answer questions and we could see first hand the quality of the work they were doing. We were also lucky in that we're in a new development with decks being built all around us and we could again see first hand the difference in quality of our deck versus others. Of course quality comes at a price but we are very happy with our extensive deck and are confident it will maintain its integrity for many years to come.

We wouldn't hesitate to use Hickory Dickory Barrie in the future and highly recommend them if you are looking for a long lasting, high quality deck solution.

When we decided to replace our old deck, we had so many questions. After talking to several companies, we decided to go with Frank from Hickory Dickory Decks. We are glad we did!! Frank came over to check the area, gave us advice, explained all the options before giving us a quote. He was very patient, polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The demo, construction, and installation were faster than what we have expected. It was impressive how organized Frank and his team were, cleaning up the area extremely well at the end of each day. The final product was worth every penny. We went with an 11x18 feet composite deck with a combination of rails and glass. We also added a cocktail railing top a great way to put your drink or plate if you have a party and running out of small tables ;-). Thank you Frank!

When I decided to replace my old wood deck with a composite deck I reached out to Geoff at HDD. I was looking for something different and Geoff was able to provide me with a totally new design for the space and walk me through the construction process.

The deck was built over the summer by Ronald with meticulous precision and it looks great - I've had many compliments on my new deck! Everyone I dealt with in the process was professional and courteous.

The contractors were very efficient, polite and did a great job installing the deck and porch on our home. We had need for special mobility adaptations, and Ibrahim was fantastic at understanding what we needed and translating it into a practical solution. He was also extremely courteous and professional. Bob offered lots of choices to replace our old cedar deck with low maintenance materials. We got to view the materials on finished decks installed at the head office on Dundas near Hwy 6 and settled on Veka vinyl with aluminum railings and premium fastening. Nick did a very professional install with no skimping on the structure, cleaning up after each day, all done as agreed. We are very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend you consider them for your next project.
