Clera Windows + Doors

This week I had the most beautiful glass door installed. It replaces the small older window that looked out at the backyard. Clera Windows and Doors was a pleasure to work with from the beginning... Gene, my initial contact, was knowledgeable and patience with all my questions. Ramesh, the installer came to assess the job as it was going to be a tricky install. The double brick construction of the house was going to have to be cut on both sides and care needed to be taken because the base of the door was going to come close to the brick detail of the basement window below.
On the day of the installation, Ramesh and his helper came early, worked hard in very cold weather and stayed late to make sure it was all done right. I had asked Gene that the flashing on the outside be black to match the old windows. Ramesh only had white with him on the day and I said OK that would be fine. At the end of the day Ramesh said it was too dark to finish up and he would have to return to finish... when he did come, he brought black flashing and caulking and finished the door beautifully.
My contractor was very impressed with the door and the install and said it really changes the feeling of the house... "Pennies well spent!" was his final comment... Thank you guys for a great, great job and a great, great product...Mary

We had quite a few quotes done by other companies on HomeStar but we were happiest with the Clera product, price, warranty, and customer service.

We ordered our Windows in October and were told that it would be approx. 2 months to the install date. We could have had the windows installed end of December but we decided to hold off until first week of January.

Now for installation – We can’t say enough about Mario! He is an expert at what he does – his install was smooth, quick, and the end product was gorgeous!

The whole installation process went very well.
The installers were here on Thursday & Friday (right on time might I add) and had to come back today to finish up the siding between/for the bay windows.
Other than the slight delay in installation date- due to one of the windows being held back at the manufacturer (which we know was not your fault), all in all we are very happy with the work that was completed and your guys were very polite and professional throughout the whole process.
We will for sure be in touch with you when we have funds to complete the rest of the windows in the house and we look forward to doing business with you and Chris again!

Just an overdue thanks to you and the crew.We have noticed a very positive difference in the house since installing the new windows. Less drafts, cooler in summer warmer in the winter. This cold winter has been a real test.

Clera just replaced all my windows. From sales to installation they were a joy to deal with. The sales rep took the time to explain to us all the different options, and answer all of our questions. The installation crew were just as professional. My house looks better, the windows work great, and my furnace works less. Great company, super guys to deal with. I would definitely recommend using them.

Last fall we purchased basement windows and a large living room window from Clera. The price was competitive and the product was of high quality. The salesman and the installers were very good at their jobs. We are so pleased with this company, we plan on having them replace our doors in the near future. Thumbs up Clera.

We were very satisfied with the level of service, quality of workmanship, as well as the professional, friendly, and courteous manner from our service rep, Denis, as well as the whole crew that did the installation.

After having a very negative experience with another window installer years ago, it was comforting to know that companies such as Clera offer a high standard of service and respect for our home ... there was nothing to clean up afterwards. All furniture and floors were covered with drop cloths as they worked and came in and out of the house during a time of much snow.

We would recommend Clera Windows to any of our friends or family.

We had a front door and front bay window installed. The door and windows themselves were extremely well made and the installation was done professionally and with great care. Alan took care of the ordering of the product and we got exactly what we expected - and more. Jeff's work on installation is second to none I have seen. The window installation required some finessing due to the shape of the window frame and the front deck but the finish is first rate. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately we need to amend our previous rating and reduce it substantially. Five months after the install of our windows, We discovered May 24 weekend that they wouldn't close properly so we called the company to come and repair. It took weeks (Mid July) for the installer to show up and they were in and out again in 5 minutes saying it was the springs and would be a quick fix but they didn't have the parts with them. Jump ahead a month later and we finally got a commitment to show up on Aug 18th but the installer called the day of the appointment to say they wouldn't make it but that they would be there Tuesday. Tuesdays call was that they forgot the parts so Wednesday. Wednesday was a no-show, but got a text Thursday that they would be there Saturday at 11am - again a no show. I called head office and the sales rep. Sales rep was very good and got back to me quickly to say he was investigating, Called the head office on Aug 26th but have yet to hear back. Now we are Thursday Aug 28th and still no response from anyone since the weekend.
The product is good, but the after sale service has been far less than impressive. Really disappointed in Clera.

Very seamless approach. Ron, the salesman showed up quickly and was very helpful and informative. He kept us in the loop through the whole process. The installers were polite, reliable, and efficient. A quality product overall and would definitely recommend
