Unfortunately we need to amend our previous rating and reduce it substantially. Five months after the install of our windows, We discovered May 24 weekend that they wouldn't close properly so we called the company to come and repair. It took weeks (Mid July) for the installer to show up and they were in and out again in 5 minutes saying it was the springs and would be a quick fix but they didn't have the parts with them. Jump ahead a month later and we finally got a commitment to show up on Aug 18th but the installer called the day of the appointment to say they wouldn't make it but that they would be there Tuesday. Tuesdays call was that they forgot the parts so Wednesday. Wednesday was a no-show, but got a text Thursday that they would be there Saturday at 11am - again a no show. I called head office and the sales rep. Sales rep was very good and got back to me quickly to say he was investigating, Called the head office on Aug 26th but have yet to hear back. Now we are Thursday Aug 28th and still no response from anyone since the weekend. The product is good, but the after sale service has been far less than impressive. Really disappointed in Clera. Very seamless approach. Ron, the salesman showed up quickly and was very helpful and informative. He kept us in the loop through the whole process. The installers were polite, reliable, and efficient. A quality product overall and would definitely recommend

We engaged home service club over as year ago and our renovation nightmare continues. The first contractor they sent hardly showed up at our house and although put forward as a contractor capable of doing the job, became overwhelmed. He eventually caused structural damage and had to be removed Home Service,despite the claim that they provide oversight on the contract and contractor, actually called to see if they could close the file four months in, at which point we only had a massive hole under our house and paid him almost all of our money based on his word(based on this, we could only concluded that they weren't on top of things). While they quickly jumped in after the fact to try and remedy the situation, there is little transparency in the way they have gone forward. They have proved to be quick to blame the home owner or their own contractor but do not like to acknowledge the part they have played. In the end, a "double guarantee" is a good thing, but if you do your research and hire competent and fair contractors who get the job right the first time you wouldn't need to pay the premium this service offers

Incompetent planning and execution. Unexpected and exceptionally high cost increases. Work area was a disaster and declared unsafe by city. Thousands of dollars in damages related to this job before contractor was asked off the worksite
