My partner has been using Robert and his team for many years for various moves. Our move that we recently completed included two locations that Roberts team had to pick up from. In both cases he and the team were meticulous in their attention to detail in terms of caring for our belongings, but also in understanding where they needed to be placed upon arrival at our new home. In addition, Robert and his team were very helpful in taking apart and putting back together various pieces of furniture and appliances.

I would not hesitate to use Robert and his team again for another move, as a trusting relationship have been built with him and his organization over the many years of them helping.

This is the 5th move with Engel Moving. Always on time, polite and professional. Care is taken with the furniture, packing moving and unloading on the other end. Thanks Robert and team!

Engel Moving has helped me with my moves (residential and corporate) since 2009. They have also moved a number of my relatives on my recommendation (residential moves). Robert, the owner, is a pleasure to work with. He is courteous, responds promptly to enquiries and he is punctual on move day. My moves have been challenging (unforeseen complications arose) yet they were completed in the estimated time and there's never been damage to furniture/items nor to the residences/offices. I will only use Engel Moving and will continue to refer him when asked for a good mover. I have been in good hands with Robert and wholeheartedly post this endorsement.

All moves are stressful but ours was compounded by the fact my husband was in hospital for our long distance move. Owner (Rob Engel) and his three associates took the stress entirely out of the move. They were professional, friendly and totally competent in their business. They worked cohesively as a team and displayed total knowledge and confidence in what they were doing at all times. I will most definitely be recommending them to friends and family.

Engel Moving and Storage is an actual horror story. Dr. Jekyll (Robert Engel) arrived for an estimate as a personable, accommodating and pleasant individual. The nightmare began on actual moving day when Mr. Hyde (Robert Engel) showed up over an hour late. As stressful as moving day is, a simple phone call to say he was tied up in traffic would have put us anxiously waiting at ease. This was only the start of his abuses. After assurances, once from his pre-inspection visit to our home when he walked around the house and was shown what had to be packed and moved, and then again after a confirming phone call, his demeanour did a 180 degree turnaround. He berated us as customers but also his very nice co-workers who were trying their very best. Everything that was previously discussed was denied, and his cocky attitude worsened. In the end his estimated moving time doubled with the cost. Who wants to get into an argument after 20 hours of putting up with this abuse. The customer is always wrong and at fault, sign the paper releasing him of any claims and then find out the next day how much scratched, damaged missing furniture and wall damage you really have. Silly us for not reading on line reviews and being hood-winked. Our recommendation of this mover-STAY AWAY.

We hired Engel Moving on the advice of family, who had used them for several of their own moves. We found them to be very professional and accommodating when we had to reschedule the move time because of elevator issues. They showed up right on time, were careful with all the furniture and there wasn't a scratch on anything when they were finished. I have already recommend them twice since the move in May, and obviously wouldn't hesitate to use them again ourselves.

Don't ever use this moving company!!!! They showed up an hour and a half late. The owner double booked the day. All day he had this bizarre attitude... made snide remarks to my girlfriend about some of the "collectible" items I had. My 23 year old son and friend were asked to pitch in and he remarked that their help was practically useless.Throughout the day he would tell stories about his last moves and how "bad" they were. Bought them lunch and drinks and gave them a beer at the end.. with no thanks. This guy was so arrogant. Not the pleasant, easy going guy that showed up to do quote a month earlier. Total bait and switch. Reduced the price slightly at the end but no price was worth the unbearable attitude this guy had... Stay away, so you won't have to go through what I did.

Moving day was stress free.
Robert (owner) and his team of long-time employees arrived 15min early and were ready to go. Everything fit into one truckload as estimated. Actual job time was very close to estimate. All items were wrapped and handled with care. Highly recommended.

Engel was a great choice for movers. After getting many quotes, we decided to go with them because they would offered a very reasonable estimate. They arrived on time, with 3 men, worked quickly and efficiently. They kept our new home (on the 'move in' side) very clean, rolled out mats where they were walking, etc., but still did everything quickly. They did not damage a thing. They honoured their quoted rate and we stayed way below what any other company would have charged us. In between old-and-new houses, they stopped for lunch, but told us in advance that they were doing this and that we would not be charged for the time. A+ for these guys!

Engel Moving's office staff were very polite and extremely helpful in answering all my questions. The crew were on time, polite and very careful with my furniture and personal effects. I've already recommended them to my friends & will definitely use them again when I move, in the future.
