Ejaz did a good job in making sure we are satisfied with their service. He made follow ups after the technician installed our new HVAC. He did one of the inspections himself and sent another technician to take care of the things we were not happy with. You can't find anyone else with so much dedication to customer service.
New HVAC Installation
I picked this company directly from Homestars because of the great reviews from other users. Let me tell you this. Reviews don't mean anything when it comes to the actual work. I hope for the sake of other customers, our case is an isolated one.
Cosmopolitan did a poor job installing our HVAC system. They installed the outside unit with the front facing the wall. The pipes are touching the ground. The unit is not leveled and tilted a little bit. Then the drain hose was not properly secured on the basement floor drain causing water to flow into the wood beams and into the carpet floor. A section of the cold pipe was not covered by the black insulator. It caused condensation that drops into the insulation foam of our finished basement. Good thing the installers were so lazy they did not replace the boards on the ceiling when they finished. I was putting them back when I noticed the water along the pipe. We nearly had a flooded basement.. To top it off, they left our basement really messy. I had to clean it up myself. Too bad I didn't take photos because I was so tired by that time. They started an hour late with one person. The second one showed up before noon, which the first guy had to pick up somewhere causing more delay. I can tell the second guy is lazy. He's always on his phone while doing the install. They finished around 9PM.
I was really disappointed. It cost a lot of money and that is what I got. It's not like I mistreated them. I talked to them from time to time, which they said most customers don't do. They appreciated that. I also offered them cold drinks every hour. I even brought them lunch because I noticed they didn't have anything to eat and it was 1:30PM!
Overall, they did a terrible job and will definitely not contract them again.
