Berg Electric

After purchasing our current house we needed to update the existing aluminum wire throughout the house with copper, replace the main electrical panel, plus we needed to wire a new basement kitchen and run ethernet and hdmi cables from a room in the basement to 6 rooms throughout the house and add.

After getting a few quotes we decided to go with Berg Electric, because they were recommended and his price was the best. Well we are pretty happy with our decision, Sam and his team were very good at what they do, everything was done up to quote, they were very responsible, friendly and accommodating.

I waited a year to write the review, just in case there were some issues that could have come up with the job they did for us, but I have to say that after a year everything they did is solid. So at the end we are glad that we went with Sam, and any future electrical job will be with him.

I purchased an old property in Toronto. I have completely renovated the entire house. During the process I hired many contractor. I would say that by far Berg electric was the best I used. Sam (the owner) gave me a very good quote to perform the work. He was very knowledgeable and honest. Even if not part of his scope of work, Sam was always ready to provide recommendation or names of other people that could help.

Sam of Berg Electric personally answered his phone, gave me a fair estimate for the work to be done and always showed up on time. On the day of the installation Sam and Andy were very professional and competent and left all the work areas clean and tidy. I especially appreciated Sam's advice to install LED and CFL light bulbs to save energy and money.

These guys were awesome! Complete rewire within a week. They went in through the attic and the basement to make as few holes as possible. I would highly recommend them!

The work was excellent. I paid what was quoted. Sam also did a thorough check of all existing wiring and suggested some upgrades. I now have LED lighting everywhere and save lots of money.

We have used Berg Electric numerous times. Most recently Sam and his team removed the remaining knob and tube in our century home and upgraded many of the lights, switches and receptacles. I would have to say this is the area where Berg electric really shines. They understand how older homes are put together and are able to figure out the most cost effective solutions to minimize the havoc created from this type of undertaking. We ended up with many more lights than we had initially envisioned, but it made sense to do it and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We will continue to use Berg and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any electrical project. They were responsive, smart, courteous, fair and delightful to work with.
