Maintenance/Tune-up of the AC and Heating units

By subscribing for a maintenance plan for 162.58 per annum (as of 05/30/2016), I have found my AC and heating units having been taken care of in a most wonderful way in all aspects. Please find below a brief account of the technicians' visits to my household: 1. July 23, 2016: Tech #541: furnace blower and condenser units checked, cleaned, tuned up (sub-cooling was detected, fixed). Users thoroughly instructed (cost: $0.00, covered by plan); 2. August 20, 2016: work order: 424778, Tech. #541 (Mr. Ch. Garcha). cleaned and flushed condensate drains, air filter, checked: humidistat, damper, electric components, condensor, compressor, fans (cost: $0.00, covered by plan); 3. October 14, 2016, Tech. #170 (Mr. Dag Rummeda). Mr. D. Rummeda did the most outstanding job! He managed to detect a gas leak caused by the pin hole in the pipeline (somehow, the said hole went undetected for a while - perhaps the smell of the leaking gas was minimal) and fixed this very promptly and efficiently; he also managed to find the underlying cause for the gurgling sound in the exhaust pipes leading outdoors (the pipe turned out to have been strapped at an angle relative to the duct). Notably, all of the above shortcomings detected by the Tech must have been taken care of by the other company, in whose care the hot water tank had been; regrettably, the said company did not take much care. Having said this, I would like to mention that the time is near when the furnace is to be replaced, and I do not see any better option for me than getting a new unit installed and maintained by Messrs. AtlasCare. Of note: upon having analyzed the spectrum of maintenance/insurance plans provided by AtlasCare, I have found that even at the point when the equipment becomes obsolete there are coverage options (for labour and parts) that are still advantageous for me as a user. The bottom line is: Messrs. AtlasCare are definitely focused on saving energy and money for clients and providers likewise.
