We have yet to try out the furnace for heating. We purchased a large A/C unit, which works well. The only issue we are facing is getting the cool air pushed up into the upper floors, especially the loft area.

It is my pleasure to comment on the service provided by Applewood Air Conditioning. The work completed at our home was scheduled by competent staff who followed through precisely as stated. The field representatives who completed the installation at our home, did their work professionally and expeditiously. My wife contacted me at my office upon their arrival and immediately commented about their politeness and their respect for her and our property. She felt very comfortable about them being in our home. They completed the installation in the location that I had requested and in fact made the decision to improve on my request. Upon completing their work, they left our premises free of any and all debris. My wife and I both would and will recommend this firm to anyone requiring a service that Applewood can provide.

From my first contact with Shelley I was impressed with the customer service. Shelley took the time to explain the different options available, and what the difference was in price and potential energy savings. Shelley never tried to up sell me, and just wanted me to be able to make an informed decision.

Laura in scheduling despite having left for the day, emailed me to set up an installation date.

Chris and his associate arrived on time and asked me where I would like the unit installed. They treated my home as if it was their own, putting down cloths to ensure they did not damage my hardwood floors. They wiped down my stairs to the basement when they were finished, to make sure no dust was left from their boots while they had been in my basement.

We recently had a Carrier 3-ton air conditioner installed by Applewood, and are very satisfied with their end-to-end service, from pre-sales through post-installation!

With her in-depth knowledge of AC models across different brands, Shelley courteously walked us through the pros & cons of various options, cautioning us against potentially unwise choices from a consumer's perspective in a convincing manner.

When we asked about specific installation practices -- concerned that the install team might not follow religiously the Carrier installation guidelines for 3-ton units (vs. 2.5-ton), in terms of electrical wire and refrigerant line sizing, etc. -- she was able to confirm that they would actually surpass the Carrier specs. (BTW we checked the installation afterward and are pleased to conclude that Applewood did honor what they'd promised pre-sales!)

Post installation, Shelley handled all our paperwork for the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) rebate as well as Carrier product registration, specifically reassuring us that the latter was performed for both the evaporator coil and main condensing unit (which is important for both to have the extended warranty).

As for the installation itself, what Allen and Marc delivered can't be more professional, plus more... Without being asked to, Allen fixed some issues with our HRV that he discovered while working on the furnace controller board, something obviously outside our contract! On the other hand, Marc showed me the pressure and temperate gauge readings when checking out the refrigerant lines. He even ran the leveler by me to convince me the unit was perfectly leveled -- somehow he knew about my OCD and my desire to hear about it. LOL!

Applewood Air Conditioning installed recently new air conditioner for my new home. I was extremely satisfied with all aspects of my contact with this company. The customer representatives Shelley and Laura are the best, very knowledgeable and polite as well pleasant to deal with. Shelley even took care of any paperwork related to warranties, incentives and followed up with us as required. The installation team (Mike and Phil) are also great workers, very pleasant to deal with, they answered all my questions and cleaned up after they left. Great service, I would recommend the company to everyone.

We called different providers and found out applewood quote was not only reasonable but their response was very prompt and exact.
I really want to appreciate Shelley for answering all the queries we had and providing best rates. Even she helped us filling the rebate form. Service guys were also approachable and showed us in detail how to maintain air-condition and humidifier.

Applewood installed a new air conditioner for my new home. I went with this company mainly because they installed the furnace in my home. I was pleasantly surprised with all aspects of my contact with this company. The sale representative was very informed, pleasant and always got back to me in a timely manner. The installation team was also very pleasant to deal with, they answered all my questions and cleaned up after they left. They even secured my ceiling air vent covers in the basement which the builder neglected to do. Great service

This is the second time I have used applewood
They were prompt with my quote and provided me with the info I requested and gave me some options. They didn't try to up sell like the other companies that quoted. Everyone I spoke to was great from Shelley and Bob in sales, Mike the installer and Laura the scheduler. Applewood has installed my home AC, Humidifier and gas line. These guys are professional they did a good job and very helpful. Hats off to John the gas line installer he is an amazing guy. They started early and did a clean job. They patiently advised me the functionality of the product and cleaned the working area thoroughly when done. Customer experience A1.

Within just a few days the Applewood team were at our home looking after the installation of a new furnace, air condition and humidifier. They looked after the removal of all of our existing system and even agreed to manage the available government rebates for us.

While at our home the install team were professional, and explained what they were doing in layperson terms we understood.

Throughout the process all involved communicated clearly about what we should expect and did exactly what was promised.

The funny discovery we made at the time Brendan came to meet with us initially was that the furnace that had been installed when the house was new - 20 years ago - was in fact installed by Applewood Air Conditioning. A great testament to a long standing company who knows how to take care of their customers.
