Affordable Rubbish Removal

I called this company and the phone was answered very politely by a young lady. I have never had waste removed before so I asked many questions and all were answered to my satisfaction. I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday at 3:00pm. About 1/2 hour before I was contacted by the driver who informed me he was on his way and would be at my house in 20-30 minutes. As promised the truck arrived with two men at the scheduled time and both introduced themselves to me.
I explained the work that needed to be done and a price was given for the work and I agreed as I felt it was very reasonable. The work was done promptly and they took great care not to damage anything in the house. The floor was swept clean and some other things were taken away that were not in the original quote which I was not charged for.
I would like to thank Dave and John for a great job and that they really did deserve the tip for such a job well done.

Name says it all. Simple, down-to-earth prices and service.
We cleaned out our garden shed recently and had lots of assorted rubbish to get rid of.

1. We found "Affordable Rubbish Removal" via HomeStars and phoned Charlie. He was straightforward and easygoing over the phone and willing to come by on a Saturday.

2. We researched some of the other "more established" garbage collection agencies (whom we've used before.) and knew we'd probably pay 2-3x more.

3. We decided to go with Affordable Rubbish Removal.

4. Transaction was surprisingly relaxed, simple and straightforward -- Charlie showed up with his truck, he was friendly, and picked up our stuff quickly, efficiently, and with a smile.

NOTE: If you do have ALOT of heavy items -- you might want to check with the larger companies for more manpower. But if you're just looking for straightforward junk pickup (nothing to back-breaking) and are tired of the higher prices larger companies charge, Charlie's your man.

NOTE: Anyone wanting to have rubbish picked up -- our experience is that if you have the time to collect your rubbish together into one spot ahead of time, it will usually get you a cheaper price -- especially if you can set all your stuff out on a tarp, etc. so that it is easily accessible to whatever truck the company brings by. It saves the pickup service's time once they are there -- and usually nets you a lower price.

I was quoted $135 from got junk and $60 from this company. Its only a mattress and box spring - pick it up and take it away. The pressure from the first company was relentless telling me that I had no other options that I couldn't even take it to the dump myself. Got very aggressive when I said I wasn't interested. This company - very straight forward and picked it up the same day.

This company's name "affordable rubbish removal" says it all, there service is very affordable for rubbish removal, they did an amazing job, and they did it really quick, and were able to have everything out of my way within 2 hours, they were fast paced people. the prices were beyond great and were easy on my piggy bank. i will be hiring them in the future
