Abba Skylights

From start to finish ABBA Skylights was great to deal with. We were referred to them by VELUX as an Authorized Dealer & Installer. We came to their showroom in Mississauga, they showed us the product and discussed with us various options. We wanted 1 skylight in our living room and one in our kitchen. We wanted both units to open and wanted the 2x4 size as we wanted quite a bit of light and fresh air flowing through. We also went for the Solar Powered Blinds which was a nice addition to our Solar Powered Venting skylights - all operable by remote. The turnaround time was great - the skylights were in stock and delivered on time. The day of the install was smooth. The crew was respectful and proffessional and cleaned up after they were done. Overall, we are very pleased. Very professional, reliable and honest.

My experience with ABBA Skylights was excellent. They are very responsive, very knowledgeable, professional and honest. They provided us with different options and made everything simple - we were debating between Fixed Skylights/Venting and Tubular Skylights - they explained all options, the benefits of each and helped us make the best choice for our application. We ended up going with 2 Tubular Skylights over our staircase. The product supplied was on time and the install was smooth. They were very professional all the way through. They made what I thought would be a headache, a breeze. Thank you Michael and Matthew and the whole ABBA Skylights team!

They sent a crew who had no idea what to do in an older house. They had no idea that the windows they had approved wouldn't fit so we had to downgrade the windows on the day of installation. We also had to seek out expertise on our own after they had cut open the ceiling and realized they didn't know what to do next. Finishing is now almost impossible without major extra work, the "solar" blinds don't fully work, and the framing work is so uneven it will have to be hand-chiseled in order to allow for basic boxing in of the skylights. The screens provided by the manufacturer don't even fit correctly in the frame they made. So unprofessional.
