A1 Air Conditioning & Heating

We were very satisfied with this company until we received an unsolicited invoice for wrrantee service one year later.
Salesperson Jeff was prompt and professional. We obtained three estimates and his was lowest. The installers were prompt, efficient and left the area clean. I did require two additional calls to straighten the air conditioner.
The shock came one year from installation when I received a numbered invoice requesting a payment for a service call to maintain my warrantee.
I reviewed my documentation to confirm that I had a warrantee with Lennox and had not signed any contract for an additional warrantee.
I called A1 and was asked to write an email to Peter. He did admit this was an added feature provided by A1 and apologized for the lack of clarity.
My concern remains that he did not indicate that they would cease using this very deceptive practice. Therefore be on the alert for this if you are using this company.

From our initial phone call requesting information through to the installation of our new equipment A1 has delivered everything that was promised and then some. The salesman was extremely knowledgeable not only about the products but also the mfg rebates and the govt rebates available. He answered all of my questions and never once made me feel foolish. The young men who came to install the new equipment arrived right on schedule. Even though they had to take out our very old and dirty equipment, then install the new equipment, you would never know by looking downstairs. They left everything spotless. When they finished they sat down with me to explain how the new equipment worked and taught me how to use the new thermostat. A1 has shown themselves to be a company with integrity and deliver what they say they will. I would recommend A1 to anyone looking to have their old equipment fixed or replaced.

Six years ago we had A1 install a new air conditioner. Each year we do the warranty maintenace and it ran well. This summer within a three week period our air conditioner stopped working twice. A1 was quick to respond and came the next day and sorted the problem. Technicians were polite, very knoweledgable and got the unit working. A1 is a good company that follows through with good service.

my air conditioner broke on the July long weekend. service came the day after I called. Unfortunately, it was beyone repair. Sales came when they said they would and our new air conditioner was installed the very next day . Great job A1 ! I would recommend you to my friends.

I called the office and received excellent customer service. I explained that I had a problems with my 14 year a/c so I decided it was time to get a new one! After doing lots of research on different companies in the area I called A1. With in a couple hours I had spoken to a very knowledgeable sales man he didn't push me to purchase anything I didn't need. Thank you for all you help. We had A1 install our new AC and at the same time install a humidifer back in 2009. At the time the work appeared to be done well and we were happy with their service and the overall customer experience. I recently tried to change the water filter on the humidifier only to discover that it is still in brand new condition, ie the humidifier in fact at no time ever worked. So I called the company today and asked for a tech to come out and at the same time quote on installing a new water heater. Sadly the person on the phone was insistant there would be a 90 dollar charge for them just to show up. On one hand I can appreciate this is coming 2 years after the install but I would suggest to the owners good customer service would be to be upfront that while the actual repair will be to my expense the $90.00 fee to see whats going is a bit much given it appears the product never worked to begin with. Also the fact I was offering new business to them suggests a little common sense for what is ,or was, a rather loyal customer should be warranted. Not a big deal , I have another company coming out to look at it but it is a rather dissapointing situation from a company that at the time of the install I would have rated a 9/10.

Arriving at a new purchased home in July , and finding the AC didn't work was a shock, but the prompt service call from A1 , followed by a no-nonsense analysis of the problem , and possible solutions was much appreciated. Their team arrived very soon afterwards to install a new unit which was accomplished very promptly and their communication with respect to the installation and maintenance in the future was much appreciated. I am very satisfied with A1 and their products.

Wonderful service - efficient, knowledgeable, professional and left the house in tip top clean shape. Everything came on time, was installed as promised and the rebate application was taken care of for us as well,
