The crew was very nice and professional, and everything went smoothly and on time. I appreciated the attention to detail; we have an old house with a lot of fussy woodwork, and the painter was careful to ask questions about anything that wasn't obvious. Excellent work.

I hired WOW to paint my porch and railings (a relatively large area) which were in terrible shape after a paint job that was constantly bubbling and peeling. They did an excellent job of sanding and scraping to get down to a paint-able surface, and the paint job was perfect. They were also kind enough to paint over our back steps, which were not included in the quote. The crew were nice guys. Super happy, thank you!

I hired Goodwood after having a difficult time finding other companies to prune our large backyard oak. With all of the storms we have been having, other companies were quoting me quite a bit higher than I expected to pay, and a few not showing up or replying to messages at all when we had scheduled the work. We had a problem with our old Beaumark stove, which required a switch replacement. Pambis followed up quickly to locate the part and did a great job with the repair. I have the impression they are honest and really know their stuff. Nice people to deal with too.

Masonry repointing and chimney removal
We hired Red Robin masonry to do the repointing around our house and take down and cap an old chimney. I am happy with the quality of their work, and believe the quote that they gave us was very reasonable. Communication was excellent, and Dave and his crew were accommodating to some specific requests while on the job. Would definitely call them again in the future.
Water service pipe replacement and some interior plumbing
We had Strong Plumbing replace the private portion of our water service pipe and re-locate our shut-off, which required some additional interior plumbing work from the shut off up to our water heater. Valentin gave us a reasonable quote, and they were able to start the work soon after. There was one slight hiccup in locating the existing pipe connection underground, which meant a few extra hours of work for the crew and a second hole in the lawn, but they resolved it and we were not charged for any additional work. Overall I was very happy with the work and feel that I was dealing with an honest and skilled plumber.
Painting of interior walls, some ceiling repair and painting
I hired Creative Painting to do the most of the interior walls of my home, including living room, dining room, halls and stairway, and four bedrooms. They also did some crack repair and painting of a detailed ceiling area, and painted two of the bedroom and hallway ceilings. I was very happy with the quality of the job, and the team handled any requests for areas in the house that needed some special attention. Alex also coordinated a drywall contractor for us on very short notice, which we were very happy with, and worked well with him to get the job done (the drywalling work is not included in the price below). I would definitely hire again.
