The detergent dispenser on my dishwasher broke. I called Certified Appliance Repair, based on the good ratings that they had on Homestars, Google Reviews and the Better Business Bureau. Garit arrived within a couple of hours of my call. He assessed the problem and gave me a possible two step solution. The first step was to completely replace the dispenser unit. If that didn’t work, then the circuit board would need to be replaced. It was a laddered cost. The service charge for the initial call was rolled into the cost to replace the unit. If that didn’t work then that cost would be rolled into the cost to replace the circuit board. I decided to proceed. The part arrived the next day and Garit returned at 3:00 PM to complete the work. He worked very logically and professionally to remove, replace and test the new unit! Success, it worked! I found him to be very calm and pleasant to deal with and he left everything neat and tidy. I will certainly use Certified Appliance Repair for future appliance service and repair needs.

I have been dealing with Natalie, Steven and their team for several years. Always a very prompt, professional and knowledgeable service. As a Certified Arborist, I know that I am getting appropriate recommendations from Steven for my trees and plants (particularly my Amur Maple tree), to ensure long life and beauty. Natalie is a pleasure to deal with and always makes sure that I am fully informed about scheduling and final costs. The staff does not turnover very much it seems, so it is nice to see some of the same crew here each year. They make sure to consult with me, if there are any questions about pruning certain branches. The work is done efficiently and carefully and they clean up the site nicely.

Scott and his team did a great job of fixing a previous company's water management installation (French drain) which was not landscaped properly. As a result, I could never get sod or grass to grow over the drain. Scott was on hand throughout the day and they completed the work on the same day. They were very friendly and helpful, giving me tips and tricks to ensure a good end result. For example, one area is very narrow and abuts my neighbour's driveway. I envisioned spending hours out there every day hand watering the new sod, since use of a sprinkler would cast water too wide. Scott's suggestion of a soaker hose was perfect and has saved me hours of work. In the office, Jason ensures great customer contact and scheduling.

During recent heavy rains, water entered my home via the attic hatch, located under the roof vent. Several contractors were contacted, however this job was generally considered too small. A trusted friend recommended Jamie Taylor, owner of Taylor Roofing. Jamie came to see me within a few days of my call and did a thorough inspection and assessment of my problem. He quickly identified the cause of the leak as resulting from issues with the original installation of the vent. He also noted a potential problem with the bathroom exhaust vent and identified several areas on the roof where the shingles had come loose. In other words, he looked at the overall condition of my roof and pro-actively made recommendations. We agreed to proceed and within a week he was back and quickly did the job. He let me know what he found and what he did to improve the integrity of the roof. He left my yard and driveway neat and tidy. Jamie was very pleasant to deal with and when it comes time for me to look at re-roofing, I will definitely call him.

A great experience with this company, who solved a longstanding water entry issue by identifying and rectifying problems with the membrane, that is supposed to be between the foundation and the brick, at the sill plate. Nick, the owner, visited me three times before we had a contract, to ensure that all my questions were answered satisfactorily. During the project he came to the site at least once a day. However, I was in good hands with Tessa and Leona, the crew who did the majority of the work. Both of these women are knowledgeable, professional, easy to deal with and enthusiastic about their careers. They ensured that I was briefed on what they discovered during prep and at each step of the repair and restoration. Under a quickly erected tarp structure, they even worked through that heavy rainstorm that we experienced on Wednesday. The resulting work is top notch, and they left my yard, deck and shed neat and tidy. I will use Integrity Masonry again, should I require more brick work to be done.

A prompt response from the owner, Dany, who also did the work. Detailed explanation of the options. Made a couple of trips to prep and seal the crack then followed up a week or so later to do the sealing. A neat and tidy job.

This company is reliable and very good at communicating their plans, based on weather conditions. They are responsive to comments on the service provided as well as to suggestions for improvements or changes. Sometimes my car was on the street longer than I expected, waiting for a service call, but no service calls were missed.
