Sales person, Sandip, did an excellent job in properly explaining the different furnaces they offered. There was no high pressure sales tactics used at all. Sandip was genuine in helping me. The process of purchasing the furnace was easy and smooth. The total cost was clearly explained, there were no other hidden charges.
Installers arrived promptly and worked diligently to have the furnace installed in a timely manner. The installers were professional and took care not to create a mess as they worked.
There are a few small issues I should mention:
- About 15 mins after the installers left, my Ecobee thermostat lost power and the furnace shut off. I called the company and the installers returned promptly. Upon troubleshooting, they found the problem to be that one of wires attached to the control board in the Furnace was not tightened down properly. This was rectified and the issue resolved.
- There were holes drilled on the side of my basement to allow for new inlet and outlet air pipes to be installed, the concrete debris from this drilling activity were not properly cleaned from my basement.
- The inlet pipe enters the furnace from the top where the burners are, as a result, during very cold weather there is condensation in the burners which prevents the burners from firing up hence no heat is generated. The company acknowledged this issue and said they will fix it by re-routing the inlet pipe to the side of the furnace.
Overall I am very happy and satisfied with the product and service provided by Furnace King. They always answer their phone when I call and promptly respond to any issues. I
