This company was great to work with, from the initial contact to after the job the communication was great. We wanted to replace older pot lights on the main floor and replace the old, not very good lighting fixtures in the basement. The replacement was pretty easy and straightforward and they took the time to explain the variety of options that we had, made recommendations and I felt that there was no pressure and there recommendations were based on their experience and know how. Basement was a bit trickier as it meant installing a ton of new lights but the guys were great. They consulted with us and came up with a plan for placement and it has totally transformed the basement space. They cleaned as they went and left everything cleaner than when they arrived. After seeing the difference the lights make, I will have them come back and install new lights in the upstairs. I really recommend this company, it's a family company and they really know the lighting options, are easy to deal with and obviously care about the project.

We had an ongoing issue with a cold room and mold, the room had previously been treated twice but huge condensation and mold every couple of years was driving us crazy. We finally put out another call on HomeStars and Mold.ca were one of only two contractors that viewed the job that really gave us the inside scoop on why the problem was recurring. Mold.ca's solution involved more work but was about the same price as the other contractors and they were the only company who put forward a solution that didn't involve hugely toxic chemicals. We dealt with Greg on the initial consultation and he was super professional and took extra time to explain the root of the problem and what the best solution was. He was super easy to deal with and seemed to have unlimited patience for stupid questions. When we decide to proceed with the work they were easy to schedule and we actually had to change the schedule at the last minute but they accommodated us very easily and rescheduled for a couple of days later. The crew that came in to do the hard lifting were great, very unobtrusive, sealed everything up super well and gave us a clear timeline of what work they'd be doing before they started and then ran us through how the day went and what had been done. They were also amazingly good at cleaning up the worksite before they left. Had to wait a few days for the chemicals to dry out and Greg was in regular touch to see how it was going and once everything was dry they quickly booked in to come and finish the job. The foreman from the first day was back but now with a carpenter and they again spent time explaining what the day's plan was and why everything was being done. Again, totally unobtrusive and just super easy to deal with. Greg came in around the afternoon and reviewed the ongoing work with us, making sure we understood the process. He ended up staying and working on the clean up which was perfect. A nice touch was that some of the masking tape they used stripped a tiny bit of paint on the wall, which had been pretty banged up by our cat, they unasked totally painted the whole wall. It's been a few months now and we went through the wet winter but the room looks great and the added touches of adding vents to the door at the top and bottom seems to be working great. We'd totally recommend these guys, great communication, fantastic execution and the finishing was awesome.

Our kid is going through a growth spurt, so in the case of one week managed to pull off the flusher from a toilet and a tap! We also had a faulty kitchen tap that screeched like every day was Halloween and had only two temperatures, cold and boil your skin away. We have used Strong over the years and as always, a quick message, a few texts and photos exchanged and Valentin was there within 24 hours with a selection of replacement parts for us to choose from. He quickly assessed all the issues, gave us his thoughts and multiple options on resolving them. He was very clear about each option's cost, benefits and negatives, then once we had made our decision he went about fixing everything. As always, he's careful to move everything out the way, make sure that there are towels around the work area and when done he walks you through everything that was done, makes sure you're happy with the outcome and then he cleans up. I've recommended Valentin over the years and never heard anything but 100% praise for his work and his service. Very happy with his visit and grateful for his continuing excellent service.

Our previous window cleaner retired a couple of years ago, so it had been a while and one of my friends recommended Cody. It was so simple and after I reached out to him, I sent him some photos of our windows and he gave me an estimate that was in line with what we'd been paying previously. We booked but of course we had that April snow on the day he was supposed to come but he got in touch right away and we agreed to reschedule. Within a week he had gotten back in touch and set up a day to come, he confirmed the day before and showed up when he said he would, important as we also wanted the interiors done. He was quick, friendly and best of all charged us slightly less than the estimate as he felt he'd overestimated how long it would take. The windows were spotless and I appreciated when he emailed the receipt promptly. His service is top notch, customer interaction is great and I like that I could text him the photos thus not having him drive over just to do an estimate and his desire to have a paper free transaction. We'll certainly have him come in the Fall and he's easy to recommend.

We are on a contract with Atlas as we'd had such good service from them in the past. They were in this week for annual furnace and fireplace check and as always were awesome. Really appreciate how they walk you through what they're going to do first then review everything with you at the end. Thanks Mark and Jeff.

We have used Atlas before for AC and gas fireplace issues and they've always been excellent. Now we needed our vents cleaned and decided to go Atlas again. Couldn't have been more happier, Alex and Stephanie showed up right on time, came in to do a quick assessment and then to explain how they would be doing the job. Under 3 hours later and everything was done and Stephanie walked me through the entire house explaining what they found and what they had done. That's what always seems to make Atlas stand out, the staff are super friendly, patient, eager to answer any and all questions and booking always seems to be easy. We'll stick with them and would happily recommend them.

We discovered a leak in the master bathroom sink and called Valentin who we used a couple of years ago. He scheduled a visit for the next day and just like the previous job, he came in, identified the problem, a solution and what it would cost. He's so professional, I would recommend him to everyone, you won't be disappointed.

We had some water damage in a wall in our basement, Valentin came within 1 day of the initial call to evaluate the problem and give an estimate. Within 10 minutes he had a recommendation and a solution, negotiated the price there and then and within an hour he was done. He also looked at a few other minor issues and each time made a simple easy recommendation of how we could easily fix them. Excellent service, prompt, friendly and work comes with 1 year warranty, would certainly call him again and am happy to recommend him.
